Good night so far...
Memphis and the Clippers
A 67 point 3rd quarter really derailed the Memphis/Clipper under, they had 47, 46, and 38 in the other 3 quarters but all 4 quarters? 198 points...tough loss. Otherwise the game played out as expected... not really much to say that I haven't already said about these two teams. I will say there was something about Memphis that I noticed this game...Last year the Spurs did the same thing to Miami in the last few games of the finals, they kept their foot on the gas and didn't let momentum swing the opponent's way. In just about every game you see, if their isn't an enormous talent discrepancy, both teams will go on runs and coaches will have to use timeouts to kill the opponent's momentum. Memphis always found a way to kill any run LA was starting by somehow immediately picking up their own play and reestablishing their superiority. Clippers this game: Too passive, too many Blake Griffin jumpers, Spencer Hawes continues to disappoint, foul trouble for Deandre he never got into the flow of the game.
