You're not alone . Don't be hard on yourself . Many people are in the -'I can't seem to lose weight , even though I starve myself ' group
of course , I don't know you ,can write in generalizations only. Modern medicine is evolving - to treat the INDIVIDUAL , rather than a cookie cutter mentality
my previous post said various factors play a role in getting the body back to controlling it's weight . Diet is one factor only . IF you are eating well and not losing weight ? You have to address other factors . Again I'm assuming you are eating well -pressed the re-set and shut down carbs (20-25 % of daily intake, no grains , no pasta )and still no change ?
other factors I mentioned in my previous post;
- sleep : quality is extremely important. It's when the body heals/repairs . Is your
sleep good ? Wake up refreshed ? Do you snore ? Daytime tiredness ? Sleep apnea can lead to significant health issues . Can make losing weight very challenging as cortisol levels remain chronically high . Promotes systemic inflammation
-gut microbiome - this is a biggie . We have more gut bacteria than cells in our body ; 10:1 ratio . We r a planet for these Bacteria . We need them . BUT we need the good ones . If you have gut 'dysbiosis ' or 'leaking gut syndrome ' efforts to lose weight will be grossly challenging . Modern medicine has the tools to test this . Things you can do to encourage a healthy gut microbiome : eat fiber , prebiotics, probiotics . A functional medicine chap can really help you here
-exercise - again , combine hiit and cardio . Add muscle - fuel your muscles . Don't need to go to a gym!! Body weight exercises.
