Mich I wasn't involved in that game. I just happened to flip by when it was 64-55. Turned it off at 68-59 with 30 seconds left as I figured they would dribble it out, you know like normal and intelligent people would do. When I saw the final later I went digging for the dirt.

That Kst game got hairy in the second OT. When a Baylor player grabbed a rebound up 75-70 with 2 minutes left in the 2nd OT and then stepped out of bounds with BOTH FEET with the refs eyes on it (no whistle!!!) I said uh-oh. But I survived, barely and fortunately.

55 games tonight on the cad. Not a single line has budged since 5:55 when Pacific dropped 1/2 point. 3 years ago during this same half-hour period you'd typically have 8-12 moves of 1.5 points or more. The landscape has changed to say the least. My theory is it has something to do with my old pal The Greek not as active anymore and that Billy and his betting bots are playing at PPH books. But that's just a hunch.

What's a PPH book?

PricePerHead as in, the guy you used to call on the phone to bet hires a service to administrate his operation online. He pays them somewhere between 25-40 bucks per head each week to write his action and do his counts. They in turn spider their lines to copy the change every time someone sneezes at B0okmaker or 5Dmes.

Guys I think we overlooked some weather related opportunities tonight. BOS is hosting CHI. BOS is supposed to go to PHI tomorrow. CHI is headed to CLE. Before the game Celts find out they don't have to play at PHI tomorrow. Big advantage. Likewise the Knicks. They are headed through the storm tonight for a game at CHA tomorrow and it probably lays in their heads "are we going to be able to fly back?" Meanwhile LAC is off until Sunday at TOR. Advantage LAC.

A spider is a program that visits websites and copies information. So all these PPH shops attach themselves like parasites to BM and 5D, and the PPH software is designed to use the lines from one of those two places, and move numbers when they move.
