This guys (let’s call him Jim) sends me an email. Asks me what I can do if he sends me $4000 per month in business. We agree on a number. Jim ends up getting $350.
Explain this to me!
If someone turnsover $4000, you will pay $350 (bonus)?

Pino,

How much do you think you will make on an average client that places $4000 in wagers?

ACW:

LOL... man you're right on the money here, it's all about the numbers.

Pino, allow me to give you a little tip. Stand back for a little. Turn off your computer. Have a drink. Go for a smoke. Do something that makes you happy.

Once you have done this, jump back in here and read through your own posts. You'll find out they lack of coherence. So try to have a consequent train of thought, even if you have a short temper. If you can't achieve that, you'll be better off handling this issue directly with Pat; the man has been honest to you, returm him the favor.

And listen Pino, what a player has coming to him, he has it coming. If you got yourself in a no win situation, it's all your fault. Don't make others pay for your mistakes. In the long run, your honesty wil pay off.

Carry on guys, just trying to remind good ole Pino what Fonzy was all about.

guys........this thread should be a lesson to those people who think just because a person has "the money" doesnt mean he will get paid....

as Pino has said several times he has money to "bury" people....
thats real nice but it doesnt mean sh*t, when your stiffing a player for less than a dime.....that statement only means your a worthless stiff......

i could say that Pino's actions put a black mark on the bookmaking industry..........but then again Pino isnt a bookmaker......

i wish Pino could understand how he is making himself look..........he thinks he is "doing the right thing" holding his ground, refusing to give in to the horrible scammers...yeah whatever.........

the only thing Pino has accomplished is

A. being known as a stiff
B. being known as a dumbass
c. being known as an arrogant stiff and dumbass

Pino says he was scammed....from what i have read thats very questionable, since it is not a cut and dry issue.....

Pino should have done, what any legit book that wanted to keep a good reputation would have done...

pay the man what he won......wish him good luck and show him the door.......

but thats my way of thinking.......the last thing i would want is someone calling me a stiff because i refuse to pay a person less than a dime.... that is so phucking petty

your just plain stupid Pino......

anyway, you act like this "supposed scam" is something new......

players using "multiple outs" is as old as bookmaking itself...its just a way to by-pass limits.....

i put a new player on the book....next week he says hes got a "few friends or in-laws" that would like a number.....sure no problem......now imagine this...they always seem to play the same teams........oh my gosh.....can you believe that??

so phucking what......make em call their bets in....adjust the lines as needed.....or if you dont want to mess with them, pay the money and show them the door.........not stiff them and show them the door......

That thread by itself should be a bookie manifesto. A HONEST bookie manifesto, anyway.

WALK.......pettypino is in denial......he accepts no personal responsibilty for his actions........

pettypino's situation can be compared to dozens of other scenerios that bookmakers come across..

i got a guy who likes to bet the dogs, he calls me up says he just got a new satellite and he wants to know if he can bet the night races as he watches them...im not gonna stay up all nite nor do i expect my girls to either, so i say yeah leave the plays on the recorder (which has time and date of call)....

anyway, the next day im grading his tickets and hes hit every phuking thing hes played tri-fectas, quinellas, win everything.....im saying no way.......so i go to check "off-times"......guess what this track doesnt give off-times....only approximate start times.....so in essence i cant verify if hes past-posting or not......

i pay the man because of my stupidity, and explain to him that in the future he has to get ALL bets in before the first race

i didnt mention the past-posting issue, for several reasons but
mainly because hes an honest guy, and i didnt want any flack over it.......(btw it was more than a dime that he won....lol)

In the absence of any proof, PINO IS A STIFF-and an arrogant prick of a stiff at that.

HEY! DimePLayer........... THAT post was just TOO much for me to lay off!!!
I am the guy who got nailed for a "Past Post" bet. Not several supers etc etc on EVERY RACE but ONE bet that went through just after post apparently because of the "software glitch". I am amazed that you had the CLASS to pay out while they showed me the door , closed my account and still have not sent the remaining Funds to me.
It is a shame that so many are such poor business people - imagine losing a player who will spend TENS of THOUSANDS over a case that amounts to a couple grand?? To me, that is real bad business as I would expectthem to take a long term look at biz.
cheers

Pino - Hope you read the wsex threads...if you do have a legitimate reason for not paying the guy, then you need to spill it...the players here will respect and listen to you if you have a case - believe it or not, there are some pretty sharp folks here that are quite capable of analyzing the situation and making their own decisions...playing the "I'm taking my ball and going home" game doesn't do you any good...hope to hear from you...

You guys will not believe this, I am almost ashamed of myself for trying as hard as I did on this. Should have known it was hopeless! The player knew all along he wouldn't get paid and I should have listened. After dealing with WSEX and they way they insisted on them not keeping what is not theirs ($40,000) and then dealing with Pino for such a small figure it is crystal clear why we need to stay in the larger established books. This guy has fought like a crazy man with his last dollar on the line. I am very fearful of anything this Pino guy is associated with. I can not believe the other FutureBet books are run in this manner. If so it has got to be BAD NEWS for everyone involved.

Here's the latest excuse in why Pino won't pay. He won't pay now because I will not say what he wants me to on the forums about this. He still feels he is doing me a favor or something by paying his players. We worked out a deal so even though the player DID NOT DO ONE THING WRONG he would accept about 2/3rd's of what he is owed. He is owed $939 but Pino said he would pay if he could keep the $350 bonus, though the player had fulfilled all requirements of it we both reluctantly agreed. Like the player quite frankly I was gettng tired of Pino and the excuses, the player decided to take what he could and move on as this is a lost cause. NOW Pino just wrote back and says he doesn't have a problem with the player, I am the reason he won't pay!!? LOL. I won't say what he wants me to say in order for this player to get his $600 or so. I told Pino I would post that "the issue has been resolved between the parties" and leave it at that. Or I would post nothing at all, his choice. Neither is acceptable. Even though I have not seen one iota of proof of wrongdoing whatsoever he wants me to say things like "Pino has the right to protect hmself from player abuse". Or "Pino has the right to enforce his rules and protect himsef from professional bettors". He wants me to go to bat for him and insinuate the player was wrong. I will not do that Pino, EVER! You have just found your latest excuse to keep this man's money. What is funny is that Pino keeps tellng me how bad the site is and how he never reads it, now he is using this as an excuse to be a stiff? LOL. Wants me to spin it as Pino is right, not a chance brother!! I would not lead anyone into a place like yours Pino, you are clueless. Anything you can think of to grope on as a reason to stiff this guy huh? Pathetic.

I am done with this one. First Pino insisted he knew nothing of this dispute. He swore at his office he never got my call or any of the 5 emails the RX sent. They went to his office but they needed to be addressed specificaly to Pino, his employees probably threw them away he said. I was being dirty to him by posting on it here and used the wrong addy on purpose he alleged. Later he said his site probably had them blocked from here and no one got an e-mail. Why take a chance at getting some business Pino? Anyway he led us to believe had he gotten them he might have taken care of it but it wasn't his fault. Then he was outraged about the site and used that excuse, since he was not an advertiser he is being singled out, has nothing to do with him stiffing the player. Then he got around to the player excuse, how he believed this guy was a "professional bettor". Truth is Pino cut this guys limits in DECEMBER to $200!! Now he owes $939 in August and can't pay it because he was a professional? LOL.

The final reason he will use is because he has a problem with me the player will not get paid, othwerwise Pino would have paid all along. THIS MAN AND THIS BOOK IS A DEAD STIFF JOB. He sounds excactly like BetFlamingo and others who have completely cut off paying anyone. It was one excuse after another, never his falt. One person or series of events to blame, never him. I have let the player know he won't be getting paid but he knew it all the time. OVER LESS THAN $600 THIS GUY HAS FOUGHT TOOTH AND NAIL TO GET OUT OF PAYING WHAT HE OWES. I have never seen a book so desperate to hold on to money. Earlier Pino bragged how loaded he was and how much more he had than I did. It's always the one's who swear it isn't about the money who have none at all. Concession after concession was made yet he still won't pay. Buy your husband something nice with the money Pino, it's obvious you need it. And do not ever write me again about this case, I have ZERO respect for you and your books. You are a laughingstock to the industry. I would laugh if this was not so pathetic. More coming on this issue later....

Thanks man. I get some heat but I don't take it personal, it comes with the territory. I spoke out as a poster alot so I can't blame others for it either. There is a lot of differing views out here as people often have a vested interest in a lot of these decisions, you can not make them all happy. Also it makes it easy as I know in my heart what we do here, we aren't perfect but we genuinely try and do all we can. I feel bad for the player in this case because I knew right away he was legit.

I still feel like we failed when we can't resolve it but we did everything we could. I can not post that Pino and Safari casino were justified in any of this. Luckily for me the player was very professional about it all and understood completely. Made me feel good we saw this the same way. In fact he insisted as well we were not going to prop Pino in any manner over this. I thought by saying "the issue has been resolved between the parties" it would be more than enough for Pino. It would have been if he ever was going to pay any of this.

Thanks again for the good words Valdosta, we'll get the next one. Drop me a line if I can ever assist you with anything sir - patrickmcirish@therx.com
