Since this topic got so much run, I am wondering what people think about it now. They couldn't have gotten over 8.5 obviously, but they surely were better than people thought, and it would seem to me that 8.5 was certainly a more realistic number than 6. In either case Pinnacle got buried anyways by pulling that number out of their asses. Ir would have had more poetic justice to it to see Ok St win 9, and beat the original number, but a win in their final game and an 8-3 record goes along way in showing that that 8.5 everyone thought was 'foolish' was actually a pretty 'good' opener.
