Making money and earning a living is 100x more important to me than "being a fan" of ANY team in ANY sport.

However, until the Red Sox won the World Series in 2004, this was not the case.

By the way, you are correct, IOWA hasn't won a BIG BOWL game in the past 50 years.

I don't set the lines, but Penn St will be a big dog against most any team they play in their Bowl game, unless its a rematch against Oregon St.in Rose Bowl. The reason they will be a significant dog is because Vegas knows most players here will pound anything less then a TD against them because they too have done the eyeball test.
