Maybe your definition of underclassmen differs from most.

If not, then I think you need to watch a few more Hawkeye games.

Starting RB, Shonn Greene is a Junior
Starting TE's Tony Moeaki and Brandon Myers are both Seniors
Starting WR Andy Brodell is a Senior, and Trey Stross is a Junior.

That is 2/3rds of their total production rushing and recieving on the year coming from UPPERCLASSMEN. Even last saturday against Illinois, 72% of the total yards rushing/recieving yards came from the guys listed.

Ill give you the QB position, but to say the WR's, TE's, and RB's are underclassman is flat out false.

WRONG

Starting TE Moeaki is a JUNIOR and WR Brodell is also only a JUNIOR........and Senior Myers is for all intensive purposes a 2nd string TE behind Moeaki.

Also, their 2nd leading rusher behind Greene is a FRESHMAN!

The Hawkeyes TOP SIX skill position players are UNDERCLASSMEN! Semi-starter/backup TE Myers is a Senior

Starting QB--Sophmore.....Stanzi
Starting RB-- Junior..........Greene
Starting RB-- Freshman......Hampton
Starting TE-- Junior......Moeaki
Staring WR-- Junior.....Stross
Starting WR-- Junior.....Brodell

Fish Head knows the BIG TEN and knows Iowa football. Don't confuse him with facts. He knows what he is talking about. He spoke about his credentials as a Big Ten expert in his first post. Didn't you read it? :nohead:

PSU is a mere -7 pt favorite over a non-bowl team with all skill position players being underclassmen.......with the exception of semi-starter/2nd string TE Myers.

Starting TE Moeaki is a JUNIOR and WR Brodell is also only a JUNIOR........and Senior Myers is for all intensive purposes a 2nd string TE behind Moeaki.

I love to see the college football world hating on PSU, because all it will do is drive up the line in the BCS game.

Unlike some of the other contenders, PSU can actually play defense -- they probably have the best front 4 in college football.

In the BCS era, how many teams won the title with a weak defense? Maybe 1...

Bottom line is this (and you should all be smarter than this) -- don't let OSU's past 2 mishaps convince you to go against PSU with an inflated line. Jim Tressel has constantly proven that he is one of the worst college football coaches around. If you flip the staffs in the past 2 games, I guarantee you would have seen different results. It's not that OSU was overmatched, it's that Tressel and his lame-duck staff are clueless. (See NFL talent.) Tressel is probably one of the worst 10 coaches in college football, yet he gets too much credit for waltzing through a weaker Big 10!

You do know that Juniors are upperclassmen right? Oh my god, I don't think you do. :ohno:

Mr. Big Ten and college football expert doesn't even realize that he's proving our point. Underclassmen = Freshman and Sophomores. Upper = Juniors and Seniors. Oh Fish....
So 66% of the players you listed are Upperclassmen.

You thought the spread was going to be 10 to 12 so you could bet the house on Iowa. But now what are you going to do? Books are way ahead of people like you. This spread had to make you puke.

An underclassmen is anything below that of a Senior...........

Cubfan listed two IOWA starters being Seniors, which they are not........surprising since I believe he is actually a Hawkeye fan.

Not going to respond to my statement. That was what I guessed.

You'd think being such a football expert and a Big Ten follower that you'd at least know that having 4 juniors isn't a young team and definitely isn't a team full of UNDERCLASSMEN.

Are you kidding me?:ohno:

You can't even admit you're wrong. An underclassmen is a FRESHMAN or SOPHOMORE.

Why would a word such as an UPPERCLASSMEN exist if they were only seniors?

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/underclassmen
Damn dictionary. Always wrong. :nohead:

underclassmen

Can you at least admit you're wrong on this because if you don't then you lose a lot of credibility.

As if you had any to begin with after saying that PSU was barely a top 20 team.

WRONG

Look, in some areas of the country SUPPER is called DINNER and vice versa.........an UNDERCLASSMEN can be anyone who is a not yet a Senior.........OR........just a Freshman or Sophmore.

An underclassmen to me is the former........

Whichever the case, PSU is NOT a top three team in the country.........

What will PSU homers going to use as excuses when they lose one or more of their three remaining regular season games or get defeated by 10+ pts in a bowl game?

THEY ARE -7 over a probable NON-BOWL team with NO SENIORS at the SKILL positions on offense.............

In terms of ATLETICS, the MAJORITY of the term "UNDERCLASSMEN" refers to FRESHMAN, SOPHMORE, OR JUNIORS!

I refuse to argue with you any longer. Underclassmen is the bottom two classes.

Underclassmen in the draft is different. Their under the senior class in the DRAFT.

I don't know what else to tell you.
