their opponents just left their game plans unattended in an unoccupied locker room week after week after week for year after year, and then the Patriots sent low level personnel in there to steal them. OMG, how fucking cool is that

I don't believe there was any systematic process to deflate balls. I believe the entire process was lax. I believe the game officials had different tolerances for PSI. I believe that pats aimed low and it was accepted. I believe game balls could deflate during the game.

What supports my position? No recording of pregame measurements. Game officials had different measurement s for the same balls. The 4 colts balls we're all deflated from their supposed starting point, and 1 official had 3 of their 4 balls below legal limits. Scientists support my position, as did the one independent source to review the case

In fact the article states that the league trumped up this stupid story as retribution for a decade plus of persistent cheating. The article implies that deflategate would have been a non-issue if not for the fact that the league was sick of their cheating ways going unpunished.

So it's kinda pointless to dive back into defending deflategate. That's not the point.

Also laughable that the league only measured 4 of 12 colts balls at halftime because they ran out of time. More likely they stopped measuring because if all the colts balls were under, their sting was over.

But remember... the older heavy set pats equipment guy can go in a small bathroom with one stall with all the game balls, find the 12 pats balls and let out a determined amount of air in each one in 60 seconds.. But an entire nfl officiating crew deemed worthy of doing a conference championship game can't measure more than 4 balls in 15-18 minutes!! LOLLLL!!
