For the most part, I agree, and so does the science behind muscle function...

Can you show me where science says each body part needs 4 days rest?

Mine is about 1.5 a day six days a week. I enjoy the gym and like the feeling of doing cardio so it's not a burden.

Your workout 6x1.5=9hrs
My workout. 3x3=9hrs

Would you mind telling me how am wasting my time when I spend the same amount of time per week as you?

Only if you mind telling me where I said you're wasting your time. I didn't say that.

Many single people are working out to attract a mate. Once a mate is trapped they get married. Once married they have kids. Kids = No Time for the Gym. No Gym time = Going back to being fat and unattractive.

Muscle growth is all about rest and recovery. 1x a week or every 4 days per muscle group is plenty. That's why bodybuilders normally do it this way.

Well you did tell me that I could cut my workout in half and maintain the same bf%.

You easily could. I could cut it in third and do it. It's 80% diet, 20% workout for the most part. You have to eat constantly (I believe in grazing 6x a day weather losing, maintaining, or gaining), and that is by far the hardest part for just about everyone.

I agree with the first part but disagree with the 2nd part.

Can I have the scientific evidence that you need 4 days to recover?

There are plenty of things body builders have done over the years that have been proven incorrect.
Things like having to eat 6 or 7 meals a day or 2x grams of protein for each pound you weigh etc.

And there are many bb's that do work each muscle group 3x per week.

Exactly my philosophy as well.

Yea I agree with the 80% diet part.

I'm seriously talking zero married people in the gym today. Probably 200+ there.
If you have kids...you got to hit the gym at 5 AM.

And once married...it's important that you stay fit and attractive for your mate.
I used to have to drag my wife to the gym...now she willingly goes (prob because we will be on a beach in a month).

I think Chops workout routine is legit.

But I would eventually have a problem with the mental side of going to the gym and knowing I had to be there for 3 hours.
On the days you really don't have time or you are out of town-this plan is shot.

On the other hand, if you miss a day within your 5-6 day weekly routine, you can easily make it up.

there is a gym in my building which makes it easy and convenient, no excuses. Went at 6:45 this morning and it was empty. I usually only work out 3-4 times a week for 30-45 minutes. stretching before and AFTER. 2 days i spend on chest, back & arms. 2 days i spend on legs and a little cardio.

missing a day for me can also easily be made up. If I can't go on a certain day(the 3rd day) just simply go the next day and and treat that like the day before and your 3 day countdown till the next workout starts on that day.

Since I'm working every body part 3x a week anyway missing a day every once I. A while is no big deal.

Also something I did not mention my routine varies based on if I'm on a cut or a bulk phase.
Right now I'm on the later stages of a cut.

Ya it could...but it's still kind of a beating.
You have to really plan your day out around ~3.5+ hours to make this work.
So if you never have anything in life come up you can do this.
I think you could probably get the same workout in 2 hours.
That would make you punch it too.

Got to get that cut for summer.

Bingo!
It's all about intensity as well.
Your muscles should be fatigued when leaving the gym.
