Well IMO you're way off and wasting a shit ton of time.a full body workout 3x a week when you include cardio in that 3 hours .
And this is what I do and I assure you at is tremendously effective

correct. However, consider two things;
Firstly, he BELIEVES he's right -has 'evidence' ( body shape) .Beliefs shape us. Not talking about thoughts, rather beliefs, convictions. Secondly, 3-4 hrs for some, at the gym? just passing time. NEED to fill time in the course of the day. It works for some, and that's a good thing
My philosophy is instead of spending 1.5 hours at the gym 6 days a week doing a split workout. I spend around 3 hours 3 times a week doing a fbr
The total time spent per week is roughly the same as someone who spends 1.5 hours 6 days per week.
And if anyone says there is anything wrong with that I don't really gaf.
Its what I do.
It's what works for me.
Its what I enjoy.
Its a bigger sacrifice for me to go to the gym 6 days a week for 1.5 hrs per session then it is for me to go 3x per week for around 3 hrs per session.
I get hydro body fat tested every 3 months. I keep very close tabs on my lbm. I tabulate every single calorie I eat. I notice the slightest difference in my body composition. I can 100% assure you what I do is not a waste of time.
Full body workouts are generally for women, old folks, and people that don't know what the hell they're doing.
Most trainers don't know what the hell they're doing! The reason why there's not a set in stone CPT organization. It's as easy as 1,2,3 to pass most of the test. ACE is a lil more hands on, but still easy as pie.Nothing pisses me off more in the gym then when some fat slob with 20%+ body fat walks up to me(usually a trainer)tell me with 10.8% body fat telling me I'm doing it wrong. Lol
comedy at its finest.
It happens all the time.

For the most part, I agree, and so does the science behind muscle function...I think each worked muscle needs at least 4 days of rest. I can't do that by doing a full body workout 3X a week.
