DUHgood and leno, how about using 1 percent of your brain. If you can read you will see all of my posts were on a SUNDAY and after 5PM on monday. NOT during the time people work. Perhaps if you had a high school education you would have figured that out all by yourself. And i have also made it clear that i am not in personal injury. So i finally got through to wally. I explained to him my situation which he was well aware of at that point. His response was that they simply dont accept wagers after kickoff. But he explained it to me in a very professional manner. And without an annoying accent. I explained to him that i was almost as upset with the runaround then with the money at this point and he apologized for that.

He said that he had emailed me yesterday and despite the fact that i didnt receive an email, i do believe him.

ANyway, the outcome is that i still disagree with the way they handled things on every end, but that at this point there isnt much i can do. I will continue to play there until after i get married and tie up the important loose ends in my life. after that i will reavaluate the situation.

To most of you who responded, thanks for nothing. And for the few that were actually a bit sympathetic thanks. Maybe if there were more gamblers and less bookies this forum would be a bit more helpful. Good luck, i am off and back to the more professional NFL and COllege Forums. later

The subway reference was merely an example. Also, there are subways in Queens. And traffic's a bitch down the 495 so I would expect it to take longer getting home around there.

No one can live with 2 miles of their work? if you make alot of money you MUST have a long commute and YOU must play more than 165 on a game. Even at crunch time at 8:55-9 a.m. pac. on Sat, and 9:55-10 a.m. on Sunday, it seems like you can bang on Olympic's number and get the busy signal, but then, boom, right when you think there is no way, it starts ringing. Also, when the ringing starts and it seems like several rings, you can almost always tell when you have been in the que because there is a longer than normal ring. Right after that the next operator will pick up.

I almost want to mention all my favorite Oly operators by name here.

I`ve just been viewing this saga from afar. Watching you whine about this situation. What I gather from your posts is that you`re a 1st time gambler and don`t have a clue as to the rules within the gaming world. I`ve been around this life longer than you`ve been on earth. Surely the most salient point to defend Olympic would be to note that the Vikings scored after 2 mins 30 seconds of the game.

When the complaint was lodged at '1.07pm', we can all assume that the Vikes had either scored or were in the red zone.

Therefore you have no complaints, Primetime - none at all.
