this weekend showed just how annoying and sometimes pathetic the MLS can be. Again they will go an entire season without a single team winning more than 50% of their matches but with 3 teams winning less than 20% of the time. 17 wins will be the #1 team in the league? That's awful. In fact if results go a certain way this weekend portland will be #1 while winning 14 out of 34 games and will have more draws than wins. Of course no club will even approach 2 goals scored per game (right now 1.66 leads it).
nothing showed the mediocrity of this league better than SJ last night. in a position where a draw ends their season they play the very indirect style they have all year just hoping a header off a cross goes in. yes, baldomero toledo swallowed the whistle on a 100% penalty for SJ but you cannot allow a 0-0 draw in that situation. Really the same thing goes for SKC and Chicago. Goals are the #2 tiebreak in this league after wins and you have the two worst teams in MLS visiting and they ended with 1-0? That's like saying that City and Chelsea in 2nd to last match of year where they need to improve their goal differential can only beat already relegated Crystal Palace and Hull 1-0 at home. would never happen.

watched 2H of arg match. wild stuff. austria keeper flub gave arg 2-1 lead then made 2-3 great saves to keep it 2-1. arg hit post and a minute later austria scored on counter and then great indiv effort by suarez for 3-2 win. In CL the late marseille goal pushed that part of the parlay but other two won so +0.71 on the parlay. for afternoon banked 1.57 off 1.5 risked

Actual green paint from the hardware store was painted on the pitch to cover bare spots up....that is comedy gold....so, will part/most of this upcoming match be like 'watching paint dry'?(I couldn't resist)...hope they play w/a green ball or camouflage will be the talk of the broadcast w/a white ball...this is absurd..I've seen and heard a slew of things in my life but hardware store paint on the grass is a new one
