- just a small bet here as i wanted 3.5 goals but got posted at a 3.75. Still these two have been wide open in first games and really only a win of interest to either. Nigeria already in next stage but want the win and top group spot while only a win can keep Iraq alive. Nigeria with 43 shots with tourney-leading 29 on goal but have given up a bunch too...19 SOG allowed. Iraq brutal defense but have actually out-statted both swe and mex in group losses with 33-21 shots advantage and 19-15 on goal. Should see 4+ goals here

United completely impotent with Moyes' system. Crazy stat....Steven Gerrard has created more chances in the league than RVP, Rooney, Welbeck, and Januzaj combined. They're just 9th in shots and 8th in SOG and Stoke are always a pain to break down. United have scored more than 1 goal in a game ONCE in the past 7 games and none in last 4 home games. Stoke are their normal awful selves on offense without a goal in 334' and just one goal in 458'. They hit the net on just 14% of the shots they attempt and will even be more defensive tomorrow as they miss 2 starting DF. Just can't see goals in this one at all. I'll be happy with 1-0

They were lucky to get a point against Iran who outshot them 23-6 with 2 off the woodwork and scoring their only goal on an error by Iran's keeper. Similar top south american vs average concacaf match 2 days ago with Brazil vs Honduras and Brazil won 3-0 with 18-1 shots. Arg not as good defensively as brazil so looking for 3-1

Nurnberg in bad form but always play close matches away from home...last 10 away games played against anyone but Bayern have resulted in 2 wins, 7 draws, and 1 loss with all 10 decided by a goal or less. Certainly the away +1 goal is a consideration but I'll grab the +303 draw odds as they should be more like +250. Nurn 1 win, 1 loss, 3 draws in last 5 trips to Stuttgart
