Do you think Holland goes in to Turkey and play 75-80% and win or they just lay down?
The Dutch are in a must win situation themselves as they want to be in top 8 on FIFA rankings to get them a top seed for World Cup so i don't believe they'll lay down at all. Since a draw will do Turkey no good I do like the over in that game and still might bet it. One of those matches that at 1-1 neither team is satisfied and losing 2-1 is as good as drawing 1-1 so they will go all out in 2H. So, my hope is for 0-0 HT or a 1-goal match and I will hit the over for 2H and will post here (would be around 2:50-2:55 EST). We'll see if it works out...
Here is the Dutch seeding overview and the chart on what happens to each team after today's results. It will be nearly impossible for Netherlands to get seeded with a draw or loss but with a victory and just one other result (uru not win, col not win, swiss not win, or italy not win) their 1136 points will put them in top 8.
NETHERLANDS
A win away in Turkey could book their place if either Italy lose, or Colombia or Uruguay* fail to win. However, if Switzerland beat Slovenia they will definitely overtake Netherlands; in this event the Dutch would need two of Italy to lose and Colombia or Uruguay* to fail to win.
A draw in Turkey would make it difficult for Netherlands to be seeded as they would definitely be ranked below Italy and Colombia. They would then need Uruguay to fail to qualify, plus Switzerland and England fail to win.
With a defeat in Turkey, Netherlands would again be certain to be ranked below Italy and Colombia. The Dutch would require Uruguay to fail to qualify, Switzerland lose and also England, Portugal, United States and Chile to fail to win.
