First off, let me say I have no issues with you and think you are a good poster, but if someone you didn't really care for called you a dummy and then in the same thread you saw the poster use "are" instead of "our", are you saying you wouldn't point it out to him to make him look dumb? (Washwonders)

Would you please diagram this sentence for us. LOL

No need, you and your right wing loon friends are always pointing out spelling and grammar mistakes on here from the other side. Guess you guys don't like it though when someone points out a stupid mistake by the right.

"Mister Independent" shows his true (left wing) colors yet again.

Really? After the cops initially said the cop who did the shooting had no idea that the guy was a suspect, then back tracked and said he figured out that the kid was a suspect? After they released the video WITHOUT having the courtesy to inform the Highway Patrol-who the governor had given command over them in the case after the police's inept and incendiary handling of the protests, which was criticized even by some Republicans such as Ron Paul-and, never did release the number of shots fired(as far as I can see, we learned about 6 shots or more only from the independent coroner brought) or provide the actual police report filled out by the guy-the Ferguson police/asshole district attorney have only themselves to blame.

East St.Louis 99% black, 85% on welfare & the city can't pay its bills. Even the illegal immigrants want no part of that area. Brooklyn small as it is might as well be considered as bad. Ferguson suprisingly is 27% white but history will show its going the way of East St. Louis. If I was a white in Ferguson I'd get out while the getting is good. Now don't delay.

My place of birth Paterson has gone downhill but amazingly Latinos & Arabs mostly Palestinians have found a home there, maybe 50%
of the population. They actually are trying with some success to stabilize Paterson. I doubt they'd have a chance to do so in the downtrodden cesspools of St. Louis.

Hey idiot.

I provided you a link to the transcript where the police Chief said "between 4-6 shots were fired" 2 days ago.

You continue to come back here and make an utter fool of yourself.

Importing outsiders (New Black Panthers etc) is just wrong. From what I saw on TV last night the locals do not want them there and were actually helping the police.

More than a dozen witnesses have backed up the account of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson in the controversial shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown, police sources reportedly told St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter Christine Byers.
Byers also reported on Monday that Brown’s body was transported from the county medical examiner to a funeral home and then back to the medical examiner for three autopsies.
Protests continued on Monday night, more than a week after Brown was fatally shot by Wilson.
Though Wilson has not spoken publicly about his side of the story, an alleged friend of the officer, identified only as Josie, shared what she claimed to be Wilson’s recollection of events. CNN later confirmed that the woman’s account matches Wilson’s account of the shooting, according to their law enforcement sources.
The woman called into TheBlaze TV host Dana Loesch’s radio show on Friday, claiming that Brown “bum-rushed” Wilson moments after pushing him into his squad car, punching him in the face and trying to grab the cop’s gun.
“Michael and his friend turn around. And Michael taunts him… And then all the sudden he just started bumrushing him. He just started coming at him full speed. And, so he just started shooting. And, he just kept coming. And, so he really thinks he was on something,” the caller added. “The final shot was in the forehead, and then he fell about two or three feet in front of the officer.”

[h=2]New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie pushed back against the idea that police officers had a problem with race when executing their duties as law enforcement officials.[/h]During a visit to Asbury Park, Christie was asked about the uproar in Ferguson, Missouri, over the shooting death of an African-American teenager by a police officer.
“Do you think there’s a problem just in general in this country with the way police handle and treat young black men and black teenagers?” asked New Jersey reporter Matt Katz.
“Listen, I think it’s very dangerous to make generalizations about anybody like that, Matt,” Christie replied. “We have millions of dedicated men and women who are police officers across this country who work in grave danger every day to try to make sure that they protect innocent people across this country.”
Christie’s comment was met by cheers and applause from tourists and New Jersey residents watching the interview on the boardwalk.
Christie also expressed his faith in the rule of law and the justice system to properly handle the situation in Ferguson.
“Whatever happened in Ferguson, we have a justice system in this country that will be able to make that judgment, and if there are people who need to be held accountable, I'm confident they will be,” he said.
Sen. Rand Paul surprised political observers when he acknowledged that African-American citizens rightfully feel targeted by law enforcement.
"Given the racial disparities in our criminal justice system, it is impossible for African-Americans not to feel like their government is particularly targeting them," Paul wrote in a TIME op-ed.
However, Christie refused to criticize police officers as violence in the Ferguson community increased.
“I'm not going to get into this business of generalizing against law enforcement officers,” Christie said. “It's not right.”

[h=2]Last week, prompted by complaints about his statement of sympathy on the death of Robin Williams while remaining silent on the killing of an unarmed black man by police, President Barack Obama issued a statement about the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.[/h]In his statement, Obama called the shooting “heartbreaking” and added that he and the First Lady sent their “deepest condolences to his family and his community at this very difficult time.” He also dispatched the Department of Justice to Ferguson to investigate the incident.
Obama continued, "As Attorney General Holder has indicated, the Department of Justice is investigating the situation along with local officials, and they will continue to direct resources to the case as needed."
Federal involvement has not improved matters in Ferguson. The Obama administration has repeatedly intervened already in the Brown case, muddying the waters and driving justification for additional community violence.
DOJ Tried to Quash the Strong-Arm Robbery Tape. With all of the hubbub surrounding the Brown shooting, public outcry about police failure to release information about the incident was at fever pitch by late last week. That’s when the Ferguson Police Department released tape of “gentle giant” Michael Brown participating in a strong-arm robbery at a local convenience store. Eric Holder's DOJ had known about that tape for days, and they attempted to stop the police from releasing the information.
According to NBC News, “The Department of Justice, which is conducting its own investigation into Brown’s Aug. 9 death, has had a copy of the footage all along and never considered releasing it to the public, the source said.” Why didn’t they want the information released? NBC News explains that Holder’s DOJ argued that “the footage would further inflame tensions in the St. Louis suburb that saw rioting and civil unrest in the wake of the teenager’s death.”
Given that riots were already taking place in Ferguson, that justification was obviously nonsense. Rather, the tape gave the lie to the preferred narrative of the left on the shooting. The Eric Holder DOJ likely didn’t want the tape released for that reason.
The Holder DOJ Is Doing Its Own Autopsy. The state of Missouri did its own autopsy of Michael Brown; the Brown family conducted another autopsy. On Sunday, the Holder DOJ announced that the federal government would conduct a third autopsy on Brown’s body “due to the extraordinary circumstances involved in this case and at the request of the Brown family.” In other words, riots, looting, and protests now drive decisions about whether or not state autopsies are trustworthy, according to the Obama administration.
Obama Administration Officials Paint a Moral Narrative Condemning the Police. Last week, Obama came out and drew moral equivalence between looters and the police. “There is never an excuse for violence against police or for those who would use this tragedy as a cover for vandalism or looting,” he said. “There’s also no excuse for police to use excessive force against peaceful protests or to throw protesters in jail for lawfully exercising their First Amendment rights.” Similarly, on Thursday, Holder released his own statement warning police that they had to “seek to reduce tensions, not heighten them.”
That idiotic moral equivalence prompted the ire of Fraternal Order of Police director Jim Pasco, who blasted away: “I would contend that discussing police tactics from Martha’s Vineyard is not helpful to ultimately calming the situation.”
Obama Prompted Local Officials to Undercut Police. According to a report from Bloomberg News, Obama coordinated the messaging of Missouri Governor Jay Nixon. Obama reportedly met with Holder and advisor Valerie Jarrett about the situation; Holder then dictated orders to his top officials at the Department of Justice, including telling them to express objections about police response to the riots. Holder also briefed Missouri’s two senators, and Obama briefed Governor Nixon. After that coordination, Governor Nixon then shifted law enforcement duties from the local police to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, stating that Ferguson “looked a little bit more like a war zone. And that’s unacceptable.”
Jarrett is apparently also meeting with Al Sharpton and NAACP president Cornell Brooks today. Obama is meeting with Holder at the White House to hold further conversations on matters in Ferguson.
The Obama administration’s only response to the shooting of Michael Brown and the subsequent riots should have been to state that judgment should wait until all facts were out and to offer necessary support to local and state authorities to stop the violence. The Justice Department should have done its job – which is to say, investigating the case without biasing it and ensuring that police did not violate civil rights of protesters. Instead, the Obama administration jumped with both feet into the controversy – and, in the process, helped exacerbate tensions in Ferguson.

[h=2]Even as Democratic Missouri Governor Jay Nixon calls National Guard troops to attempt to quell the Ferguson riots and looting, President Barack Obama will resume his luxury vacation at a posh, $12 million, 17-room mansion in tony Martha's Vineyard for five more days after a short trip back to the White House.[/h]According to ABC News, Obama has played six rounds of golf so far that have consumed a staggering 29.5 hours of time during the first nine days of his vacation.
Obama also spent 6.5 hours on the beach, went on a bike ride, attended a Democratic fundraiser, partied at a birthday bash, and even took in a jazz concert – all while Ferguson burns.
Nine days of vacation, however, are not enough for Obama. Indeed, he will still have another five days to party with the uber rich one-percenters after he gets back to Martha's Vineyard.
Obama's dedication to protecting his time on the links can be seen in the recent CBS tally of presidential hours spent: Obama has played 186 rounds of golf so far versus his predecessor, George W. Bush, who played just 24 rounds throughout his eight years in office.
The latest Gallup poll finds that just 41% of Americans approve of the job Obama is doing as president.

Nothing calms racial discord like Eric Holder!

A friendly reminder: those people robbing, looting, throwing bottles, and firing shots in Ferguson are Barack Obama's political base. They vote Democrats at a 90%+ clip.
