I voted for Obama in 2008, but not in 2012. And I have already stated on here(not in this thread but elsewhere) that I will not vote Democrat in 2016 no matter who runs.

Can't argue with that.

1. I am against abortion except in first trimester.
2. I am in favor of someone owning a gun. I have no desire to own one myself but feel everyone has the right to bear arms.
3. I am totally against unions.
4. I don't believe in global warming
5. I am against extending UE benefits. If a person can't find a job in 26 weeks they aren't looking hard enough in my book.
6. I think welfare recipients should be drug tested periodically and stripped of their benefits if they test positive. I don't really consider this a right/left issue since neither party seems to want to fix our system but the system is fucked up and needs to be fixed.

That is a pretty good list.

That is a good list. Right now the liberals have once again attempted to blow an isolated incident out of proportion and make it a racial issue. They failed with the Trayvon tragedy. I am just wondering how many of us think racism is still a viable issue. I know we still have some inner city areas that are problems but I still think that racism is not any where near the problem it was 50 yrs ago. This country was built on tolerance and it had to evolve after introducing and finally renouncing slavery. However, this country has advanced light years over where it was. Professional sports don't get enough credit for helping to pave the way and the same goes for the military. It is no where near as bad as the rioters in Mizzou are making it out to be. We have much bigger problems facing us at this place and time.

Washwonders and I have had disagreements but just knowing his base beliefs has opened my eyes. In the end I think we all have more in common than not but the trolls in here continue to fan an invisible flame.

Been thru this many times in the past. In fact last time you questioned me about my stance on abortion and I answered it so don't ask again.

Min sure there are others but this is just a few.

Also, I have voted Republican just as much as Democrat in my life in Presidential elections. In fact probably more Republican than Democrat. I don't follow a party. I vote for who I think is best for the job no matter what his party.

Not sure why I even posted this because the right wing loons will still call me a libtard on here. Only the liberals on here understand what I am and that's why I don't have a problem with them.

Good list, thanks for taking the time to post it.

I haven't said anything on this issue because I prefer waiting for facts to emerge instead of rushing to judgement...unlike the rioting mob who has already decided nothing short of plugging in the electric chair will suffice for the officer.

At this point, I'm leaning toward the cop's story. To me, the bullet wounds are consistent with his testimony. What cop in the US is such a poor shot that he misses that badly when shooting at a stationary 6'4", 300-lb man a few feet away with his hands in the air? He wouldn't be allowed to carry a gun if he was that bad. He couldn't qualify with his weapon.

Those wounds seem consistent with that kid charging at the officer...just like the cop is said to have testified. And we already know the kid busted him one because the cop was treated for swelling and bruising of his face. Then the story continues...he fired, and Brown just kept on coming. The cop was shooting about a foot left and was hitting him in the arm and extreme right side of his body. The last two shots stopped him...the fifth shot would have done it, but by then the cop was probably unloading as fast as he could mash that trigger.

Putting it all together...

Cop sees Brown and buddy walking down the middle of the road blocking traffic like a dick. Cop rolls down his window and tells them they have to get on the sidewalk. Brown tells him where to go or ignores him. Cop stops car and opens door. Brown pushes cop back into car and jacks him a good one. Tries for the cop's gun while yelling "I'm gonna shoot you!". Gun goes off in struggle. Brown and buddy begin to run. Cop gets out of car and yells at them to freeze. They stop. Brown starts taunting the cop and then bum rushes him, possibly worried about having been ID'd for the store robbery..

Shooting commences. Brown goes down after shot 5 and 6 hit him. Started down on 5 and 6 was already on its way and took at the top of the head.

Frankly, this seems a lot more likely than some white cop cruises up to a gentle black giant minding his own business and grabs him by the throat. When the kid runs and then stops and surrenders, the cop suddenly puts six bullets into Brown just because he hates black people.

I agree with everything you wrote. Add to it, the kid's state of mind because he knew he robbed a store, and he thought the cop was going to arrest him for it. The robbery started the chain of events, and those who are minimizing it, or ignoring it as not important I just don't get.

The kids frame of mind was the kick starter.

[h=2]The Chicago Sun-Times reports that 9 year-old Antonio Smith was upset after his mother told him he couldn’t have a cupcake.[/h]He ran out of his family's Chicago apartment and was murdered; shot multiple times.
No one yet knows who murdered him or why.
The national media might give this a mention here and there -- you know, get on record; check the box -- but the national media are too busy hoping their rabid speculation and divisive race-baiting in Ferguson, Missouri, will eventually pay off.
Antonio was 9.
Still, the national media and America's civil rights racial grifters won't give a damn because there is no political upside in giving a damn -- not in Chicago. Not in a city that on paper should be a Gun-Free Utopia after decades of purely Democrat rule.
No one in the national media has the courage to investigate root causes anywhere leftwing policies have been in place unabated for nearly a half-century.
Sorry, Antonio, if you're black and there's no political upside for them, you just don't matter to the media or the Civil Rights mob.
Even if you were only nine years-old.

This is a very fair statement. But to these guys it doesn't matter. If he did get involved they would blame him for getting involved when he shouldn't have like in the Trayvon Martin shooting. But if he doesn't get involved they will blame him for not getting involved. He loses either way with guys like Russ.

no matter what. I'm not an obama supporter either.
