I'm not for that. I do think based on what I have read and watched of this case, I would have voted to indict.

Not to say I would vote guilty at a trial, but to indict, yes.
you cannot honestly say that unless you were actually part of the grand jury. you're speculating as are most people. No disrespect but what you read and watched means shit. your vote doesn't affect someone's life. Should we suddenly convict or exonerate people based on media reports or what some say on the internet?

Yes, you are qualified to form an opinion to indict somebody because you watch CNN. Good for you.

Before anybody jumps to conclusions. Garner has 31 prior arrests and is a career criminal. He also happens to be a fat piece of shit who was also a chain smoker. Just about anything could have killed this guy on any given day of the week.

His priors are irrelevant in THIS Case. In The Mike Brown case, his current robbery was the cause of the incident.

Oh ok, cause you said so we should just forget the 31 arrests. Upstanding citizen I guess. We can leave it at that.

Upstanding Citizen or not is irrelevant. Priors are irrelevant. What went down THAT night is irrelevant.

The Medical Examiner (and the family pathologist) found the cause of death to be "there was compression of the neck, that was the cause of death"

Since the cop is on video choking Garner's neck, I don't need any other fact to indict.

I don't watch CNN

The problem is that NYC cops are arrest happy. They knew who he was. Why not just give him a ticket requiring him to go before a judge?

Think about it. This guy died over what comes down to a tax avoidance issue. He died for not paying taxes.

The Rockefeller center tree lighting will be very interesting tonight.

Yep politicians need to own this too, they're the ones that pass these petty laws to raise revenue. Cops often go fishing for petty crimes, and are taught to do it. Liberal politicians pass the vast majority of these stupid laws. Imagine if the soda size ban was still in effect and the police were out harassing people for that. Will we see a change though?

The bigger picture is the militarization of our police, and the way citizens are being policed over petty bullshit and constantly harassed. Both the police and politicians need to be held accountable for this. But they wont be.

+1 When I see a cop go one way I always go the other. Had one use it as probable cause to stop me too, and I told him straight up, I'm not a criminal, I just feel it's in my best interest to avoid you.
