Hey buddy never looked in your thread before...Is an action play weaker then a normal play. Or is that just the name of your plays...I mean I know what an action play is but not sure if you are referring to the same thing I believe it to be

He has two plays - Action and Investment.

Investment plays are more selective plays and have had a higher overall winning percentage.

An action play, is a normal play for me, in the sense that it is most frequently bet. Investment plays are the heavy hitters. They are the only plays that matter to me in terms of my bankroll over the course of a season. Been reluctant to make anything investment, of late, in light of my recent slump. Action plays, are bets that result from strong leans. Last few days I have also bet my leans, for a smaller amount. Still considering making a new record for these. We'll see..

Surprised you went against your Bulls tonight. Sacramento is a pretty bad team, and I would think the Bulls can cover this pretty easily.

One thing is for sure, a small play on the Kings, won't change who I am rooting for in this one :103631605

But to be honest, I did not expect the Bulls to come out with this much intenstity on defense in this game. Even though, I gotta admit, that I am enjoying it..

Hope you had a profitable night Paddy :toast:

This may explain why the Bulls hustle and play hard on this road trip:

Bulls owner JR on a Chicago talk show interview. He's pissed :103631605

Jerry Reinsdorf: When you have a team that's not performing it's an organization failure. You win and you lose as an organization. But if there's one person that is not responsible for what's going on right now, it's John Paxson. I have tremendous confidence in John Paxson. He's really one of the best people that I know. He's a great general manager and a great judge of talent. I just worry that he not be too hard on himself. He takes all of this very, very seriously.

Mike North: To say that he's not at all responsible … he brought in the players. So are the players not being coached up?

Jerry Reinsdorf: I have a lot of thoughts about that but they're not thoughts that I really can say publicly. All I know is what we have right now is not good and we have to get it better. They are playing hard in the last half-dozen or so games. We had some games where…

Mike North: You knew they were mailing it in.

Jerry Reinsdorf: They were mailing it in and I felt like standing up and booing along with everybody else. They're not mailing it in anymore.

Jerry Reinsdorf: We have a great player in Derrick Rose. When I first got involved with the Bulls, we had one great player (Michael Jordan). When we won our first championship, he was the only player left from the original team. We will build around Derrick Rose. Every player that's added to this team will be a player who can feed off of him. … This is not going to take changing 11 players. We do have some pretty good players on this club. Obviously what we lack is an inside presence. That's the biggest thing we are missing and somehow we have to find it.

When talking Reinsdorf, I cannot help but think Jerry Krause, and the way it all ended. Not a big fan of Reinsdorf. :nono5: Also, not surprised that he does not blame Paxon for the Bulls failures. He has after all, made the man's job difficult, by wanting to control certain personnel decisions, that he's not capable of making, with the best interest of his team in mind. Doug Collins is all I have to say about that. :think2:

Doubt there is a connection between the Bulls playing better and Reinsdorf's comments, above. When the Bulls are hitting their jumpshots and playing defense they will always have a chance to win, no matter who they're playing. When they're not they become a very average team at best. Just the way the wheel is turning now, I guess. They had the luxury of beating up on the Kings and Clippers, back to back, but before that had gone on a 5 game losing streak. Very curious, as to how they perform over the next 10 games or so, where they will face teams, like the Hornets, Rockets, Mavericks, Pistons, Magic, etc. 8 out of their next 12 games will be on the road, so they will get the chance to prove whether they can play hard and hustle on a consistent basis. Personally, I'm not expecting much. But I hope I'm wrong :103631605
