bucks+6? and pistons-1? your thoughts

Still considering Detroit as a possible play for myself, but important to keep in mind that you will be betting against a hot Minnesota team that is 10-2 in January, who has won 3 straight, and, will be playing this one at home..If you are still comfortable, with the play, considering, then I doubt there are any stats that would cause you to reevaluate your play. Cap the one-one matchups in this one, you should see a few things that are interesting. I do agree, that, with lines this low, games are usually worth a 2nd look. And that's where I'm at right now for this game. As far as the Bucs are concerned, I don't trust this team, without Redd in the lineup, especially on the road, playing against a healthy Pacers squad. Also, the Pacers are coming off a 24 point defeat to Orlando, and may be looking to beat up on this injured Bucs squad, who already struggles on the road (9-18). Coming off of a loss by 10 points or more, the Pacers, are 8-1 ATS in the following game. A dangerous stat, imo.

I didn't take it bad. I don't no anything to say about it. I am playing pistons rather large and bucks small to get the cover.

Action play:

Toronto Raptors -2

For a Raptors team that is beginning to gel, running into a Nets team that has been struggling of late, might be exactly what they needed, to win 3 in a row for first time since starting of the season 3-0. There is little doubt, that the Raptors have provided fans with a classic demonstration of what it means to underachieve, throughout the better part of this season. However, a short term memory might serve us best in this one. With their 2 key players back in the rotation, Jose Calderon, and J. O'Neal, the Raptors have won back to back games by 20 and 16, albeit to the Bulls and Kings, nevertheless impressive victories. They have gained individual contributions from each O'Neal and Calderon, and have benefited from a deeper bench, teammates resuming their natural positions, and a confidence boost that deserves attention. Add that in, with how Bargniani has played of late, the steady play of Chris Bosh, and you have a formidable opponent, in the Raptors. Not what the doctor prescribed, for a struggling New Jersey team, that has lost 6 of their last 7 games at home, 2 straight at the Izod Center, and lost 4 of their last 5 games overall. Nets are also banged up, with Harris not at 100%, and are coming off, a 4 game west-coast road trip, which should bode well for Toronto. Too much talent on the floor for Toronto in this one, and too many mismatches, for the Nets to overcome, imo. Feel very comfortable with this play, win or lose.

I will bet on the games below, for less than normal action plays..spent too much time capping today, to not bet these games, however I strongly suggest laying off..I will not count them in my record for action, since they are being played for a different amount..will consider making a new record for these...just something I want to try, at this time, as too many of my leans end up winners while the plays I have chosen to wager on lately, have not..posting them just prior to tip intensionally..

3-2, tonight.

3-2, on the night, but just a brutal loss with the Raptors play. The pair of losses come in, as the result of 4th quarter collapses, by Toronto and Denver respectively. Cannot complain when the ball doesn't bounce your way, just have to stick to what you do best, and keep plugging away. So I'll take the small profit on the night, and move on.

Hope everyone had a profitable night,

any thought on tonites plays

Leaning on the Magic, first half, as well as for the game. Total, is untouchable, imo, for reasons I can go into if you'd like. Suffice it to say, that I consider betting on the total for this game, to be, too much of a gamble one way or the other. With a gun to my head, I say under. But not worth a bet for me. I'll pass on tonight's action. Both games, high profile, and should be fun to watch. Lines are tight, so choose wisely..

If I make any plays, they will be 2h plays and I will post them..

I hope you have a profitable night, :toast:

Buying half point, and picking this one up early..

Action play:

New Jersey Nets +8

Nets, have owned season series against Hawks this year, going 3-0 in h2h matchups. Shocked to see them open up, as a 7.5 dog in this one. Line is 3.5 points higher than what I was expecting. Devin Harris, looked good for the Nets last time out, serving up 25 points and 10 assists, and Carter has played well this season against Atlanta, shooting the ball 59 % from beyond the arc, over 3 games. With Horford still out, Atlanta struggling to rebound the ball. Hawks were just out-rebounded 51-37 in their most recent matchup against the Knicks, which resulted in a loss. Should present a good opportunity for Nets front-court to take advantage. Hawks have lost 8 of their last 12, and 3 straight. When playing the role of a 7 to 9 point home favorite, the Atlanta Hawks are 1-5 ATS this year. On the other hand, when Nets have played the role of a 7 to 9 point underdog on the road, they are 6-2 ATS this season. I'll take the points here.

GL, as always,

Z
