Always look to play a total this low, in a Knicks home game. D'Antoni's up tempo style of play, ensures that you will get a high volume of field goal attempts night in, night out, which will always increase your probability of hitting the Over. Knicks come into this one, having scored 100 plus points, in 7 of their past 8 games in Madison Square Garden. The one game, they did not surpass 100, they came close (97 pts). Don't see this Memphis defense doing anything to stop that streak tonight. The Grizzlies, come into this game having given up 100 plus points on defense, in 4 of their last 5 games, and 12 of their last 16. I expect that to continue tonight. Knicks should have no problem scoring 100 plus in this one. Though the Knicks, dont's struggle to score points, their achilles heal, all season has been a terrible defense. Sometimes, they don't even look like they try to put forward any effort on that side of the ball. Knicks come into this one, having given up 100 plus points, to opposing offenses, in 6 of their past 8 home games. And in one of those home games, where they did not allow the opposition to score 100, they allowed them to come close, with 98 points. I expect Memphis, to break out of their recent offensive slump, which has come while facing some of the better defensive teams in the league, (Cavs, Detroit, Charlotte, etc.) and come close to their last offensive output against the Knicks, where, needless to say they scored 100 plus. Think the pace will be there for this one, and the defenses are terrible enough to warrant a bet on the Over, on what is a low number, imo. Last 3 meetings, between these two teams have gone over the posted total. Not expecting anything to change tonight.
