fwiw...would like to see your plays without the negative qualifications such as may buy back....when you feel you have a solid play just post it ....it was obvious you were not sure of the Bulls play and in my mind should not have ever been a post...please don't take this as a knock on your capping which is excellent....just that mixed signals about a game should be avoided....just mho....get em tomorrow
Pace, I can't cap coaching failures. Bulls gave up early on the pick and rolls with Derrick Rose and Kirk Hinrich, which were working well at the time, when they decided to stop using them. Little sense can be made of why they were abandoned. Even less sense can be made of why Del Negro did not address the issue during a time out, at some point, and direct the attention back to the pick and roll, which was effective for them. Also, Aaron Grey who played his best basketball of the year in the 1st half, and who was having a significant impact on both sides of the ball, was left to rot on the bench with 3 fouls, and only ended up with 13 mins on the day, after going 4-4 from the field and grabbing 5 boards, plus a block! Fouls don't carry over in this league, if you are benching a player because of fouls, you need to eventually get him back on the floor, especially if he has played well and had the kind of impact on the game, that Grey was having tonight. To make matters worst, Noah, who replacement him could not handle his defensive assignments, and allowed Pachulia, to score repeatedly on wide open layups, and dunks. It is a coaches responsibility to make the appropriate substitutions, and put out the best 5 players that can help a team win a game. Del Negro did not do a good job, and as a result became an obstacle to his teams success. The list goes on. Del Negro stuck with a zone defense in the 2nd half, that saw Bibby torch the Bulls, and stubbornly refused to go back to man, and play help defense along the perimeter against Bibby. Before you know it, Bibby, ends up with 31 points, and shoots over 55% from the field and 50% from beyond the arc on the night. Hawks thrived against the zone, as they kept passing till they broke it down and scored on numerous open shots, meanwhile, Bulls coaching staff did little to prevent their team's freefall, and refused to switch them out of the zone in time. Then, to cap off the night, with 1:30 left in the game, Bulls down by 5, Del Negro leaves Nocioni on the bench, who is a clutch player for the Bulls, and also leaves Rose on the bench, who is arguably there best offensive talent. And instead Noah, and Sefalosha were on the floor, who are 2 of the more offensively challenged players in the NBA, in their respective positions. Down 5, with 1:30 left, and that's the lineup you thought gave you the best chance to win? It was just the cherry on the cake, for what was one of the worst coaching performances, I have seen, by an NBA staff, throughout 4 quarters of play, in a very long time.
The only reason the plays we're cautioned as possible buybacks, was that I had not finished capping them, but wanted to jump on the best available line, before any more movement..Won't include the side note the next time, as I do not want to send mixed signals about the play..
Your posts are always appreciated here, so I would never think you are trying to knock me..
