Years ago I believe it was ND who was left out or let into the playoffs or national championship game even though they had the same record as their opponent and lost to them. I can't remember what year.Mighthave been earlyplayoffs or before.

Yes they should be ranked above Texas, though barely

Bama just beat undefeated 2 time national champ f-ing Georgia, Bama went undefeated in the SEC which has won 5 of last 6 NCAA Championships

Texas beat lil puny weak Ok State and played in the much less competitive Big 12 (TCU last yr lol)

Head to head win 2nd game of season Milroe was a green new staring QB—-they would beat Texas, today it’s a different ball game
Sorry but that does not matter. We can play the but if this was this, or that was that game all night long. They played on the field & Texas was the superior team. People forget Texas took the ball with over 7 minutes left on the road & NEVER let Bama touch the ball again. They dominated them at the line of scrimmage.

If Florida St Loses Tonight Then There Won't Be Any Chaos, It Would Be Michigan, Washington, Alabama , and Texas. But If Florida St Wins Tonight Then Someone Gets Moosed.

Texas lost to Oklahoma
Texas played in a weaker conference
Beat a 3 (now 4) loss team today
Texas beat Bama 75 days ago vs a green QB
SEC is deepest conference by far and has won 5 of last 6 National Championships
The committee (and Vegas) knows Bama is much the better team but is stuck with the simple notion that Texas beat them 2nd game of the season
Bama would be a 6 pt favorite over Texas if they played next week and I’d load up big on Bama so would other knowledgeable veteran cappers

Agree
But Bama and Georgia are the two best teams
Then Michigan
Then Texas
Then Ohio State
Then Washington

(I am from the Midwest didn’t go to an SEC school nor did any relatives)

Once again HEAD TO HEAD trumps all of this. I don't care how many days ago it was, it happened this season with both rosters healthy. Texas beat them and were the better team. You can't say Alabama is better than them when they lost to them. Get real

Such a tough call, who stood out in the SEC this year other than UGA and Bama?…Nobody, not Tenn, Auburn, Ole Miss, A&M…everyone talks about what FSU doesn’t have, but Bama beat Georgia with Bowers and McConkle playing on one leg and beat an average Auburn team on a miracle play…bottom line, a deserving is getting screwed this year!…
