Great adjustment by the Clippers' coach.

Ayton got totally cancelled out

yeah except it wasn't an adjustment, he stumbled into it because Zubac was ruled out. Even though it was obvious they should've been going small more in this series to anyone with a clue.

Zubac played well but they need the spacing, Lue just gave Ayton way too much respect and it'll probably cost them the series (although we'll never know)

Suns are clearly better without Paul.

He is just taking the ball out of Booker's hand

Yeah he definitely elevates them in the regular season but I agree. they just need Booker/Ayton with some shooting. They were more dynamic with Payne IMO

Doesnt help that Paul is 19-60 shooting in the series

This is the type of small sampe size noisy hot take people should really try to avoid.

If we aimed a gun at your head and the Suns had to play 2000 straight games vs equal competition with Chris Paul and without Chris Paul, which side would you choose?.....Run that exercise in your head before saying stuff like this and you'll get the right answers more often than not.

Then again, SmallDaddy would probably get his brains blown out so who knows.

So everybody is right all the time?

Post your bets then partner, but I am pretty sure that would not work out well for you

Maybe you should change your avatar to Skip Bayless?

Sounds like something he would say. The great thing is after coming with a sports radio type take and it blowing up on you, now perhaps you'll be less likely to do that in the future. Who knows though.

And you did exactly the same thing.

Paul averaged 17 points a game in the regular season. Today it was like 40

So which one is more likely to happen going forward on a regular basis.

Clips may have run out of gas on D, Suns made a lot of their 3's. Paul was, I think 7 of 8.
I am sure he will keep on doing that going forward

So basically Paul playing great versus subpar was 1-3 in the series and you are chiming in after the 1.

I wasn't basing my "Suns are better with CP" retort on 1 game, I was basing it on common sense. So no I wasn't doing the same thing.

I can't even believe we're discussing this. Actually, we aren't discussing this. Whatever your evaluation process is, GL.

If you think he's not that good and the team would be better without him then umm, cool.

To be honest, I don’t think the CP3 Suns are much better than the CP3-less Suns. He played out of his mind tonight, which was fun to watch given it was on his former team.

But even over a large sample size I don’t think they’re THAT much better with cp3

If you take a top 20 player off a 50 win team, they're going to be much worse. That's almost pretty much universally true.

The Suns have a good backup but it is easy to have a good start or two, try doing it when the other team has seen you play 38 minutes a game over 2 weeks. He's a backup for a reason.

And Booker would have to do way more playmaking without CP which would really hurt his efficiency (the only other offense creator they have)

Not to mention all the intangibles he brings like experience, leadership, motivation, poise, coach on the floor which is immensely valuable to a young team.

This is a bizarre discussion to me but to each their own.

If you had guts you would have counter argued right after the post was made, not waiting till Paul and the Suns had a great shooting night
