Ayton played 45 minutes, that is a ton for a big like him. His fatigue definitely showed late as he had opportunities for offensive boards. He had some really nice D possessions late as well though, which gave them a chance to win before Jrue ripped Booker.

Their defense is pretty helpless in the minutes he doesn't play though so not sure how much more of a breather they can get him. They were -10 in 3 minutes w/o him. Not much margin for error when he leaves the floor.

Phoenix will need to add a quality rim protector in the offseason to come in and take some of the burden off Ayton if they plan on trying to contend again next year. That, and probably some more perimeter scoring if Paul doesn't come back.

I was kind of shocked that Phoenix didn't attempt more 3's. They shot 13/19 (11/15 outside of Booker) from distance tonight, and their role players were hitting. They went a little too much iso-Booker. He had a pretty good game, but Phoenix should've tried to get their role players more involved. Everyone seemed to be hitting tonight

I'm not sure Ive seen anyone... Anyone on TV/Radio, or even on a forum, who thinks PHX has a chance in Game 6.

Hmmm... Almost all of these games have been very competitive and have come down to the last 2 minutes of the game. Including the last two that Milwaukee has pulled out. Bucks made the plays down the stretch, PHX couldn't close.

I don't think PHX is just gonna roll over and give up here. I expect another game going to the wire and decided in the final 2 minutes.

Suns should win. Bucks are so inconsistent; Middleton and Holiday are both streaky as hell, especially Holiday

Pressure is off now so they should win Game 6. Game 7 is where they’ll choke this away for good though

OK...I'll ride...shot gun for Game 6!

Good luck.

I mean, MIL is favored by 5 in this game for a reason. But... PHX has not lost 4 in a row all year. Think they only had one 3 game losing streak all season. And MIL is known for laying eggs and being inconsistent. Not sure the script from the past 3 games can go the Bucks way again and make it 4 in a row.

If the Bucks win the NBA title tomorrow, I think it will because they play out of their minds and take it. Not because PHX rolls over and/or chokes.

Phoenix certainly won’t roll over, but a choke is definitely on the table.

Maybe the choke is out of their system after Game 5

Tight game down to the wire.

Scott Foster has been assigned as the crew chief for Game 6. Uh oh... That means he's there for a reason. Chris Paul doesn't win games when he's officiating too often.

He's either there to make sure that continues, or he's got his orders to extend this to 7.

Congrats to Giannis and the Bucks. They earned it by being able to close the deal at the end of those close games in the middle of the series. Giannis's supporting cast chipped in at different moments, and it was enough.

That's probably it for the Suns. The stars were aligned this year, and they made a hell of a run at it. But hard to see them not having a hangover next year, combined with them actually being taken seriously by the rest of the league now.

It will be interesting to see what Chris Paul does next year. I think he is better off going to Lakers/Nets to try and play more as a supporting actor to get a ring. I don't think he will be able to run it back with this squad and get a better result.

I am happy we got a bunch of competitive finals games this year. Unfortunately the ratings were awful for this finals, so Adam Silver will make sure it doesn't happen again

Milwaukee deserved to win. Suns should be OK next year as I think Johnson will be a much bigger contributor and, hopefully, they pick-up some inside muscle. Would love to see them get Harrell from the Lakers as the playoffs proved they don't think much of him and he has a player option to opt out and become a FA.
Indifferent regarding Paul. They can build off his wisdom and leadership, but a guy like Shroeder (another Laker) may be a fit for the right money. I don't see that much separation between the Suns and the other top teams in the West. They earned the two seed, but they did catch some playoff breaks.

Milwaukee deserved to win.

Absolutely. Giannas was was a beast all series and his performance last night was one of the best in the history of the NBA Finals. And the Bucks defense was sick. PHX had to work hard for almost every shot.

Feel good for Giannas and Milwaukee. Superstar stays in the small market. Rejects joining a super team like most of the other NBA lame stars do. Puts a team on his back and wins it all. Well done.
