it's one thing to leave a bad review, its another to leave a viscous review.

i'm a small business owner. 6 full time employees. Been in private practice for over 20 years. Fortunately, i havent had to deal with a poor review. We all have 'our' bad days, I, of course, have had mine. What people don't understand is the damage/the affect a callous/viscous review, like the one that chap posted can have on the business owner. I'm not talking financial. And they can do that nearly free of ANY consequences. I mean, is the small business owner going to fire energy/funds to sue the chap?

it's VERY sad. Talk about not encouraging small business growth/entreprneurs


in my industry, we are regulated big time. A good thing. Protect the public. BUT to have this potential shit on our shoulders? Fortunately, for me, i'm at the stage in my life where I don't need money, kinda set, further savings to help my boys........but for a person just starting out?

I agree. A Vicious review is left when you're at your wits end, totally frustrated with a business/service, and want to warn others from experiencing what you've experienced. Wrong Way didn't have to go through anything other than not providing the services promised, and making excuses for it. The guy who was wronged was the angry customer, who was apparently lied to, belittled, and ignored.

Sadly, plenty of incompetent people have jobs and own businesses. Where are all the good reviews? Plenty of customers that get bad service don't bother to leave a bad review. They just go to a different business. This guy was pissed enough to write a neg review, and he seems to have cause to be. If Wrong Way was a decent human being, who treated people with respect, and didn't lie like a rug, I'd be inclined to believe his version. But since he's the opposite of that down here, the guy's scenario seems most plausible.
