hourly rate with an estimated range of where I expected it would fall

as I mentioned in one post, I'm fairly certain I told him I doubt it would be prepared before April, knowing what my schedule is like in March

If I had promised to have it done sooner, if I had given him a date and missed it, I'm absolutely certain he would have used it against me

If I were you, I would tell the disgruntled potential client to "bring it", it is obvious that he was after something for nothing.
