Played some 10/25 NL last night. Was card dead and made a pretty thin call on the river vs. the table maniac, that call sat me about -3200... Then the poker gods shed some luck on me. On button with 88, middle position raised to 100, one caller, I raised to 325 from the button. Both called. Flip came 48J rainbow. Original preflop raiser leads for 650, MP folds. I shove 2350, he beats me into the pot and snaps JJ... Cooler!.... Turn A... River 8, BOOM!!! Kid took it pretty damn good. An hour later I cash out a 7800 winner. Pretty good swing in the last hour. 11k swing.

What a feeling. Love that shit.

are there or do you know of any casino's that offer a 7 card stud game anymore.ive had a hard time finding one out there the last several times but i don't go all over anymore so if you know of any id appreciate the info so when i go in september ill know right where to go.

To be honest, there's very few guys out there that I feel can "teach" me, as long as I've played the game. JT is a fairly new breed, being that he hasn't been in the game for very long. But traveling with him and going over hand histories is refreshing. He has a fresh outlook on the game, that gets me thinking about things I take for granted. He is absolutely amazing and his tournament accomplishments speak loudly. I tell other guys "he's absolutely the best no limit tournament player in the game right now." Better than all the big names.

He's got half the chips in play 3 handed... I'm still in the horse event with 41 left. We are both grabbing dinner now. I'm so mad I can't rail him for the win. I got my own tournament to win though!!!!
