I'm the guy he speaks about being his roommate and tells all those stories in this thread. To the best of my knowledge, I don't know this guy. not that big of a deal to me because he wasnt saying anything bad about me but still felt like posting. i'm friends from college with the other guy in the thread that was talking with awmllc and we were talking and he mentioned that he communicated with a dude on this forum that knew me and after telling me everything he said I was pretty sure i didn't know him so I checked it out.

the only reason I'm bothering with this is because in the last year or so there have been a few cases involving people using the names of poker players at about my level (relatively unknown or only know to people that follow poker very closely with some recent success) in some sports betting scams. don't really know the details but basically using the name of someone that can be looked up and verified and vouched for but isn't so big that it seems like a scam.
at first glance, it just looks like he was just guilty of trying to make his summer in vegas a little more exciting but nonetheless i wanted to chime in. My twitter pretty easy to see that it is really my account (who would fake my account anyway lol) because of a long history of tweets and interactions and tourney receipts etc.
not saying the whole story is false. just the beginning where he says he knows me and celebrated with us and we are roommates and everything else where i was mentioned. although he did say something when updating his main event run that made me lol when he was playing with slim (cory wuntzel sp?) and talked about slim's light hearted chit chat. slim definitely not one for light hearted table talk in my experience and i have played with him a decent bit. of course people's mood may change when they are deep in the biggest mtt of the year.
As far as me being who I am say I am, I think it's a silly notion that someone would post on here pretending to be me (also think its kind of silly to post on here that you live with me when you don't). I was talking to that guy this morning and he just happened to mention that he spoke to someone on a forum that knew me. We got to talking about it with details and I didn't know who he was talking about so wanted to check it out.
