Timoshenko is a amazing player. This is one of the few pro's that I hate to still be in the field in any tournament I'm in. This guy plays poker on a whole other level. In my eyes he is one of the 4-5 players I feel have a huge advantage over me at the table. After being in this game for as long as I have I'm not easily impressed by many players.. He is one. Unless coolered a few times, this guy has a legit shot!

if you went to a lot of circuit stops last year, were any really good for plo? tunica used to have good plo in jan/feb but not sure if it gets any action anymore. may travel to a few places this year if I can get decent sized plo action for a week or so strait.

3.580.000 at the end of day 6...My friend still rather short, but in better shape to start day 7 than he was at the beginning of day 6. Besides having secured 285k in prize money must feel really nice. *LOL*

I found good PLO action in AC, tunica, and Hammond last year. I'd imagine the best PLO this year will be right in our backyard. Cincinatti,Cleveland and Hammond. Have you taken any Florida PLO trips? I took a random 10 day Florida trip last summer... Found great action in various venues.

I haven't been to florida, thought about trying the 5-10 NL game in daytona that runs nearly every day. I will likely be in Hammond and I'll of course be in Cincy every day. Won't be at HSI besides for the main, plo action there was dead last year at least for 5-10.

I think you should plan a Florida trip. I also think you are probably missing out by not planning to hit the Cleveland stop. I made a few random weekend trips there.. With the existing PLO pool coupled with the circuit in town there is bound to be plenty of options available there.

Other than the main I won't waste my time with the SI circuit stop.. I hate everything about that place. I can't believe wsop still schedules there. Every year they say its the last..then boom, there it is on the schedule.

I'm really surprised that there was so much interest in this thread. It amazes me how many views it received. If there is interest there I would be happy to start a new thread at each circuit stop. I usually play a event of some sort every day for the 2 weeks per stop. This thread just kind of developed on the fly with no real structure. I'd be happy to give it some sort of structure. For instance hourly or bi-hourly updates. Then once a day I could post the interesting hands of the day. I'd leave this up to the mods if they rather I post here or the poker forum in hopes of trying to draw more posters into that area.

Yes - -please start a circuit thread for some of your circuit events -- especially if it helps you to pass the time. I would be very interested and I'm sure others would too. You don't have to post at every circuit stop -- otherwise it might get stale -- but a few a year would be very nice. Congrats again sir.

GL GL to one of my roomies. Jonathan Taylor is sitting 2nd in chips with just 14 left in the 1.5k NLH. Much love brother!
If you are my roommate then you owe me some back rent and need to start helping out around the house. I'm not one of his roomies.

Jonathan lurks here quite often.
It's my first time on this site but may start lurking more.

I got some great stories about this guy from the last few years of traveling. Great dude none the less
Would love to hear something of these great stories. I most notably remember the time that I never met you. The great dude part is true, I will give you that.

I'm well above average stack in day 2. Got to go rail Jonathan at the final table. He's got his game face on, sitting second in chips. These boys are in trouble.

This part is true. I was totally game-faced the whole time.

Going to bed. Late night out celebrating Jonathan's 454k win. I cashed the horse tournament. I planned on playing the event today. That most likely won't happen.

did you have fun? that's really all that matters when you make up stories.

Good stuff. We constantly find things to wager on when we are traveling. There were 3 of us including JT traveling from the Hammond IN stop to the next stop this year. Jonathon was asleep and we were coming up on Bowling green KY. There was a corvette convention going on that day. We heard them advertising it on the radio. Me and my other buddy decided to wake him up and play the "car game." The way it works is one person calls out the make, then you each pick a model and specific color. If your combo is seen in the highway the other 2 owe a set amount. Jonathon agrees to this game, as we had played it numerous times. My buddy picks Chevrolet. I pick red corvette, my buddy picks black corvette. Jonathon berates us both and said "you guys are fools, we are in BFE. These people around here don't have vette's. I take black Malibu, that's what the middle class drive. Easy money!" We decides on 150.00 per car. When it was all said and done he owed my buddy 3900.00 and me 5700.00. He was irate as we never welch on bets, although we routinely cut deals. He ended up settling for .50 on the dollar.

must have been a long drive from hammond to vancouver...esp if we went through bowling green.

my favorite part of this fictional tale is that we saw 64 black and red corvettes before we saw a black malibu. #variance
