Well fellas... I jumped the gun. I posted my last report thinking we were done for the evening as did my table mates. I was wrong, we had another level before bag up. In the last level I put a shorter stack at risk pre flop heads up my AK couldn't connect against his 77. That dropped me below 400k.. Win a couple, lost a couple before I got 467k all I'm pre with KK vs. AK of hearts... And he flushed out.

I really do appreciate all the support. I feel I played well and hell I even turned 4400 of satty buyins into 37k. Ill try again next year. Ill be at a few circuit events if you guys are near and want to meet up. Again, thanks for the support

Top 300 out of 6000 is impressive.
well done sir!

It happens. I would have loved to make a deeper run but you gotta win those flips. HC, I want to say thanks for the loyal support. I really enjoyed reading your insight. Where do you live? Near any of the circuit events?

Yeah man it was an enjoyable journey to follow for sure, my pleasure. I live in Milwaukee. Thought I saw you were going to be playing in some Chicago-area events?

Great job man. I know what your goal was but I also know you'll be learning from this and ready to crush them next year. I'd love to get some poker threads with you and HC...

Poker room here not good enough? It's doesn't seem to get much traffic...

Yeah my post is hyperlinked to it. I was saying it tongue-in-cheek. I admit I don't go there myself but I think the interest is there to get that thing jumpin if the right ideas were implemented.

The god damn online bubble burst. But when it comes to just talking strategy and shit, I'm for sure, down.

i have never spent a long period of time in Vegas - is it really that bad where you want to get home ASAP?
I saw a lot of tweets from people who busted out yesterday who were at the airport an hour later.

i feel like if i just won somewhere between 15 and 50 K, i would have dinner and get some sleep and head home the next day - but feels like everyone bolts as soon as they are done. (of course you have some who stay and played other main events like Venetian, Carnivale, etc..)

good run awm - i do Hammond Circuit every year, maybe will say hello

probably same way awm did it.. guys been there 1-3 weeks usually and are ready to hit the head on their own pillow.

most people take short weekend trips to vegas and quick red eye in and out flights make that possible to come and go in a short time. (<)<

Well... I can't speak for others, but after being in Vegas for almost a month it's time to get home ASAP. I got work to catch up on and deferred maintainance at the house. You gotta understand, after spending day after day in the casino the sounds and the food as well as the air conditioning wear on you. I can't imagine how people who work in the casino business deal with it.

Some of those guys have been in casinos playing poker 12+ hours a day for a month, so I can see how they are ready to get home.
For me it depends a lot on how the gambling is going. I've have 12 day trips to Vegas where I didn't want to leave, and 4 day trips where I was tired of the crowds, overpriced food, etc. and was ready to get out of there.
