I have been up all night playing cash. The games were absolutely banging last night. This being really the last weekend for all of the weekend warriors to make it out for the series, combined with the fact that it is 4th of july weekend has had a amazing effect on the cash tables. I ran cold for the first couple of hours before the rush came. Playing 10/25NL. I had 2900 when this series of hands went down in the span of 20-30 min.
Hand 1- First to act pick up AQ of hearts. I lead into the pot for 50, folds to middle position that raises to 175, button calls, I call. Flop is AX, 3H, 9H...I check, MP makes it 350, Button raises to 750. There is 1660 in the pot. I jam for 2725. MP folds, Button calls off having me covered. Turn is 8X, River is 6H. He rolls over pp 10's....Odd line for this fella.
couple of hands later- I now have 6350. I pick up 99 in late position. MP makes it 75 and gets 4 callers, I raise to 325 and get MP and one other to call. 1225 in pre. Flop comes 10D, 8x, 3D. it goes check, check to me. I lead for 475. MP Raises to 1450, folds to me. He has left behind only 1500, Its decision time, I have played with this guy in Chicago many times at the Shoe. This play coming from this fella is 70-80% of the time a flush draw. Problem is, I cant fold the turn here. I jam, he snaps off with the flush draw, XX and i take town (7135.00)
3-4 hands later I get a guy to commit himself all-in for 5200 preflop with AQ off against my KK. This hand holds. So in the span of 20-30 min a couple hours into my session I have ran 3k up to a little under 16K. I played for 4-5 more hours to cash out for $22,400. This is a great game when things are falling your way. I have got next to no sleep, but plan on taking another shot at the mini one drop again. If that doesnt pan out, it is back to the tables tonight. I cant afford to sleep when the games are this juicy. Unfortunatly there is only one more weekend of the WSOP, so i need to play as much as possible. I will keep you guys updated.
