Busto.. Got short, put to a shove any ace situation before the blinds. Seen no ace with the bb next hand picked up kj.. Got called 2 ways, didn't win. A cash is fine with me though. I'm a little torn, happy that I cashed in the event before the main and have the confidence, sad that the only event left is the main. Scheduled to play day 1B and unless I happen to feel like shit that morning, that's the day I will play. I usually rent a bike and go out to red rock the day before the main to clear my head, but the cash games are too juicy to pass up. Ill most likely play cash up until Saturday night, then get some good sleep. I will keep you guys updated. It's time for the RUSH to begin.

Currently stuck about 2k in one of the deepest, wildest cash games I have ever personally played in my life. It will only take 1 pot to turn it around, as the avarage pot is atleast that. Did I mention my crazy uncle won the first single table sit n go for a ME seat? What a rush for this guy!
sup guys, was doing a search on aw's poker setup and found this thread and seen a mention asking where I'm at. I'm still around, as aw mentioned. I'm mainly in Cincinnati playing 5/10 plo on wed/fri which is playing really big. It's a fun game and I've been running good for 2 years now(hopefully I'm just running normal but not sure what to expect of winrates). The game is getting tougher now though. I'm currently looking for new games as I was in evansville monday/tuesday but their new 2/5(15ish) 5 card NL PLO8 game is boring to me. I'm going to head to Indy monday to see what this knights of columbus game is all about.
I was at WSOP for 11 days just playing cash games, had one nice day winning $8500 in 5/10/25 that carried me for the trip, I really didn't find that many great games besides that one, most my games were boring and tight and I got bored and we would go drink and eat Moondoggies. I feel like the cash games get tighter every year. Not even sure I'll go next year, but probably will for a short trip. I played the $1500 plo event and bricked that early.

On a side note, I went back and read my response to a post from Hary C and realized that it was a
tad on the aggressive side. I thought the statement that he thought the guy misplayed the quads as
silly considering he got all the money. Guess My response could have used my normal snarkiness and sarcasm
rather than all an all out assault to voice an opinion.:uzi:

Well fellas. Today is the day. Played a little cash last night for a nearly break even short session and ordered room service. I got 8+ hours of sleep. I'm up early and going for a walk to clear my mind. I won't step back onto the casino floor until 10-15 minutes before the start of the event. I feel refreshed, focused, and healthy this morning. I will keep you guys updated throughout the day. On a side note, both roommates are still asleep from late sessions last night. Not sure if they will play today's day 1 or wait. They will make that decision when they wake. Crazy uncle is still at the craps table from last night and is scheduled to play today. I told him go get some sleep or unregister and play tomorrow. He said "F that, I'm on a heater. No time for sleep." Looks like he is planning on playing.
Not much to note yet. I've entered very few pots at this point. I currently have a little over 32k from a starting stack of 30k. I have a pretty tough table draw with some familiar faces and only 2 clear amateurs at the table. There's one big pro at the table, which is gaining a pretty massive rail since we are tabled right next to the ropes. Unk is only 2 tables over and I see he is already wearing the drink girl out. The drinks are not much of a worry unless he runs deep tonight. This man can out them down and hold his own until he hits that breaking point, where he gets overly loud, obnoxious, and overly demeaning to females. He has slept zero minutes in the last 18-20 hours. I don't see how he is doing it. He is sitting at the same table with MMA star GSP. I'm sure he has told him how tough he used to be in his day at this point. Unk is a great guy... But lets the drinks get the best of him sometimes.
I have found a few spots and built up to 41K. Nothing too interesting. Just picking up pots here and there. There are alot of chips on my table as there have been 3 guys busted. I am hoping to find some spots soon. Unk has somehow built up to just under 60K. When I asked him exactly what went down I was told in a drunk southern drawl. "these punk ass kids with them big ass ear-things on keep trying to take my pots, Ive had to push all in 3 times already to get them to lay thier shit down." I dont know how, or why he is still alive and almost at a double stack. But, he is. I cant imagine he wont get picked apart soon.
