Yes SB, you are correct. He also had a Class G firearms license which requires a more extensive criminal screening, fingerprints submitted to the FBI, and a $154 application fee.

Liberals are pretending this is just some simple tidy matter that some vague law will address.

Liberals are morons.

The FBI said he was not a threat.

So again, using specifics, how does a country stop a gun sale to someone under this scenario?

They can't that's the problem. I'm not blaming the people who sold the gun, I'm blaming the system.

seriously, I often times say it, and it may appear to be a joke sometimes, like I'm just pushing buttons

but the stone cold truth is they need to keep it simple

1) it gives them some false sense of security, like their political heroes can legislate utopia and make all the evil go away

2) they can't comprehend complex arguments, nuances known as facts fuck them up

3) they ignore substantive reality that doesn't fit their simpleton way of thinking

it's the guns
it's Bush's fault
Republicans hate women
selfish white men
racists
it's Bush's fault .............
Fox News..........

What system?

You said there are "problems" and I guess that is great. So how do we fix it? Or are you saying we live with it?

Who is saying "not change anything"?

Oh, nobody.

And, America's violent crime rate hasn't been lower in your lifetime while there have never been more guns.

If you were intellectually honest, you would be blaming the President for this rise in mass shootings, you blamed the last one for "Anthrax attacks" after all. But as everyone reading knows, you're not intellectually honest at all.

Um he was interviewed by the FBI 3 times and had suspected terrorist ties. That's enough for me.

Good luck with lying ace. He doesn't care about anything but being able to buy guns and ammo. Mental illness, Isis sympathizer......doesn't mean anything to him. Somehow he thinks that stopping dangerous people from buying guns, will stop everyone from buying guns.

There is a reason he wants to keep less restrictions as possible.....he may be on the no gun list if they have one. He's clearly unstable.

This is all time classic liberal stupidity. Here is what you average liberal knows about firearms

CARLSON: I read the legislation and it said that it would regulate “barrel shrouds.” What’s a barrel shroud and why should we regulate that?

MCCARTHY:The guns that were chosen back in those days were basically the guns that most gangs and criminals were using to kill our police officers. I’m not saying it was the best bill, but that was they could get out at that particular time.

CARLSON
: Ok. Do you know what a barrel shroud is?

MCCARTHY: I actually don’t know what a barrel shroud is. I think it’s the shoulder thing that goes up.”

You are as unfamiliar with this topic as you are with, well, all topics.

Notice you can't actually type out a solution. That is because you actually have no grasp or command of America's gun laws.

Yes the problem is the FBI cleared this guy even though he had warning signs. You don't allow anyone who has had any terrorist ties purchase gun, you don't let them in the country and those that are in the country get shipped out period.

Ok, well you're going to have to define "terrorism ties" because it is quite clear the FBI, the people who do this for a living, didn't believe he had "terrorism ties"

But assume for a second they did. Assume for a minute that the FBI interviewed him and wrote down "this guy loves ISIS and is a threat" But he's not arrested. He isn't charged.

The next step to preventing him from purchasing a gun is __________ ?

Fill in the blank.

And I shouldn't say I am blaming the system, the guy could have purchased this item illegally as well but maybe just maybe he would h5ave purchased a less damaging gun had he not been allowed to legally purchase an AR 15.

Everybody suspected of terrorist ties, everybody on prescription medication can't buy guns. That solution doesnt work for you because you're on meds. But I'm sure you'll give the usual standard right wing answers why we can't do this. Simple and done. See that?
