so your worst bowl day this year...2-2...wish my worst days... were like that...doing great..keep it up
Exactly. If a push is your worst day in quite some time you’re doing something right. Bad days and losing days are going to happen. As long as you follow proper money management everyone following MistaFlava should be up fairly big.

A big thing is to not try and win back the money you lost the game before by over betting the next game. Meaning, if you put $100 on Clemson last night don’t put $200 or more on the next game to make up the difference from that game. I was guilty of that years ago and it is not a wise move.

Great job MistaFlava! You've made your followers have a great holiday season. Nobody in the world would have predicted Clemson would shit to bed like that.

You know what's funny Pat is I've done a fair bit of coaching myself and one of the golden rules is to never provide your opponent any sort of "bulletin board" material let alone when they are coming off a loss to you last year in this very same spot. My system is numbers based so I went with Clemson but I'm looking to add some kind of numerical value to a coach like Dabo pulling that kind of stunt. Seriously. Sounds crazy but that was worth a lot. Ohio State was already thinking about that Clemson loss in their weight room, in their locker room, in their classrooms. EVERYWHERE! No clue why Dabo felt the need to add any kind of motivation. We also found Venables is not much of a DC when he can steal signals and when teams go quick and huddle. Easy recipe. Dabo can't call plays on offense. Trevor Lawrence will struggle on a team like the Jets/Jaguars until they build around him. And man can Justin Fields throw a nice ball when he is dialed in. Heart of a Lion. Won't be surprised if Ohio State wins the Natty.

Flava. Any updates on Twitch and your potential to post NBA and NCAAB in their designated threads?

POSTING SCHEDULE TODAY:

Gator Bowl:
11:45am ET
Outback Bowl: 12:15am ET
Fiesta Bowl: 3:45pm ET
Orange Bowl: 7:45pm ET

I lied about not staying up and working on some numbers for today. Added a couple of variables to "NY6" Bowl Games. Just some observations from the previous four that carried a lot of value in determining outcome. Also found a small nudge in formula that would have provide 3 of 4 or 4 of 4 in the NY6 games. Too late now but was finally able to get some sleep when I figured that out.

Flava, Does your system take into account PRIME TIME games? Seems to me that the dogs either win out right or have a backdoor cover in prime time games. Just a thought and Thanks for everything you do. Great analysis.

This is a great question because like I've mentioned before the College Bowl System is a mirror of my NFL System and I wasn't sure it was going to work at all. The only numerical value missing on any of the suggested lines is the PrimeTime game option that I have for the NFL which actually completely changes the play in the end. It's crazy. If I add that new value to the suggested lines for the all the NY6 Bowl Games so far, the picks Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Ohio State (OU-FLA I'm not sure because I don't have the data). So I think I will consider adding those values to the Fiesta and Orange Bowls today. They completely change everything so a little skeptical but we'll see.

Very different. I went off my rocker last time and went bonkers switching everything up. Not this time. Very small and calculated changes that I had been keeping an eye on and trying to figure out for days. I was skeptical about the CFP games going into yesterday and considered sitting out but was confident with what I had. Having said that I pulled a Venables and couldn't figure it out on the fly yesterday (between Rose and Sugar) but it took until 3-4am to figure it out and can't wait to see how it goes today. Good luck today!

Hoping your system takes into account all the stars that are out for UNC.

Gator Bowl

index15.png

NC State vs. Kentucky

Suggested Line 1: Kentucky -5.65
Suggested Line 2: Kentucky -6.11
Suggested Line 3: Kentucky -5.77
Suggested Line 4: Kentucky -5.33

PLAY: Kentucky Wildcats -3 (10 Units)

Does this game not remind everyone of the Tulsa versus Mississippi State game a few days ago when the team with the awful record, that would in any other season not even sniff a Bowl Game, comes into the game favored? Would it not be hilarious if the only two SEC teams with losing records in the Bowl Season were the only two SEC teams to cover a spread in the Bowl Season? It worked out for Mississippi State and my system thinks it will workout for Kentucky as well. This won't be a popular play because Kentucky is 4-6 on the season while NC State is 8-3 but let me try to help you out a bit here. Kentucky has 6 losses on the year and they had a lot of talent to replace from last year's team but they also have a lot of Seniors playing their last game. Those losses came against Auburn, Mississippi State (both very early in season), Missouri, Georgia, Alabama and Florida. They ended their regular season with a 41-18 beatdown of South Carolina. NC State have 8 wins on the year but those came against Wake Forest, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Duke, Florida State, Liberty, Syracuse and Georgia Tech. If you saw Clemson and Notre Dame yesterday I won't talk about the ACC anymore because both beat similar opponents. NC State comes into this game only 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games as an Underdog, they are 0-4 ATS in their last four non-conference games and 1-7 ATS in their last eight games versus SEC Conference opponents. The Wolfpack are also 4-13 ATS in their last 17 games coming off a straight up win and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games after allowing less than 170 passing yards in their previous game. Kentucky is 7-0 ATS in their last seven non-conference games and they are 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 games versus a team with a winning record. They are also 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games as a Favorite and 12-3 ATS in their last 15 games after rushing for 200+ yards in their previous game. The Wildcats love to control the tempo of the game, they don't move fast and they take up a ton of time and if you're banking on NC State playing from behind you're probably in trouble. QB Bailey Hockman has thrown 8 interceptions this season and Kentucky's defense is #9 in the Country in takeaways with 13. Slow game that Kentucky and it's Seniors will control and win by forcing turnovers.

Trend of the Game: Kentucky is 7-0 ATS in their last seven games versus non-conference opponents.

Kentucky 30, NC State 9
