When the story of his affairs first broke I predicted he wasn't going to be able to get out from under this, but I have to admit this has spun out of control even more than I anticipated. I really didn't see him taking an indefinite leave. Hopefully he realizes just how bad he screwed up and he genuinely feels sorry for his wife and kids, not just himself. I'll never understand why this dude got married in the first place. He could have stayed single and nailed all the women he wanted, with no repercussions at all.
i like him....but i dont think he will ever think about anything other than his career......i just hope he tees it up at augusta

Yeah, I think you're right there. We'll see how long his "indefinite leave" ends up being.

In other news, I don't think someone who cheats 10-20 times (reportedly) can magically become monogamous to his wife (but I could be wrong). What if he does/says all the right things in the media about making this right, then gets caught cheating on his wife again in the future? I hope that doesn't happen, but if it does it could open this can of worms again...

Completely, 100% agree. I thought the wife might leave and make the choice for him, but it doesn't look like that will happen. I wouldn't be surprised if he stays simply because he feels like he has to make it right with his family and also to try to restore his image. As crazy as it sounds, there are probably a lot of people who think he would look like a dick for cheating on her, then leaving her. But I think you're right, it would be better for everyone to just sever ties.

Im just glad he has came out and made that statement. I know I said I could care less about his lifestyle but I do care about kids. Nice statement admitting you were wrong, asking for forgiveness if possible, and taking some time away out of this country and work on things. I do think he will be back at Augusta and in prime!!!! I would go as far as saying he will go on Oprah or something, maybe even sportscenter with whats his face that has been his friend forever and speak about all of this. Love that guy! Hope and pray everything works out for him and especially his wife and kids. Nice job Tiger, now I can stay out of this thread FINALLY!!!! We got gambling to do boys!!

Not remotely true............

WTF?

VERY TRUE.....Most certainly for my beloved SheBar.

And next time we get together face to face, if Billsy tells me she would bypass $100m in exchange for your sexual fidelity, future drinks are on me for perpetuity.

Try as I might, I can think of Absolutely Nothing to add to the above Damning and Accurate Summation

Actually a bit of a heartbreak given my previous sophmoric adulation of my Pinellas County neighbor and fellow RxForum posting vet

Suddenly I realize he might be as much of a Dork as the rest of us

Interesting to realize that a few of you think so lowly of me because of my PERSONAL opinion of somebody.

:ohno::ohno:

Also, calling Railbird out is ridiculous, as this guy has made history and fame by being right more often then being wrong.............and wears his emotions on his sleeve like me.

i heard tiger's dad didn't let him date in high school.
so maybe that he is why he went all crazy fucking every slut he could get his hands on

A number of years ago I heard that Tiger and Earl routinely got whores together.

A more careful perusal of the cited post would show I declare you as being "one of Us".

WINDERMERE, Fla. -- Tiger Woods is taking an "indefinite break" from professional golf, he announced Friday night on his Web site.
"I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children," says a statement on the Web site, tigerwoods.com. "I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I've done, but I want to do my best to try.
"I would like to ask everyone, including my fans, the good people at my foundation, business partners, the PGA Tour, and my fellow competitors, for their understanding," the statement continues. "What's most important now is that my family has the time, privacy, and safe haven we will need for personal healing.
"After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf. I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person.
"Again, I ask for privacy for my family and I am especially grateful for all those who have offered compassion and concern during this difficult period."

The slowest time of the year for golf.........DEC-FEB and this guy declares a "break".

By the way, it was nice to see the wife of that S.C. governor finally getting a divorce...........tremendous move on her part.

I was laughing so hard at that dateline piece on him last night...the female interviewer of one of his ho's ask her 'I hear he's a real wildman in bed'?

This could be a real boon to his hosing around. Now instead of just wanting him for his money and power they will actually want him for his sexual prowess. ~~:<<
