I can't stand Tiger Woods. The guy is a total tight wad with his money, and completely whipped by his wife. Yeah hes a good golfer, but he also has a piss poor attitude on the course, in what is supposed to be a gentlemans game. I never see Mickelson, Couples, or Love throw clubs, curse, spit, etc. Tiger Woods, you are a cock sucker.

Tight wad with this money? He bought a $38 million estate on Jupiter Island in 2006. Add that to the one he has at Windemere (he bought two lots, one with a mansion already on it and tore it down to build his own custom made one) and the house he bought in Jackson, Wyoming..AND the home he bought in his wife's native Sweden and you will see that he is far from a tight wad with his money, he just invests in real estate instead of throwing it around like somebody like Floyd Mayweather Jr. Oh, and he also has a residence in Dubai which is being built in the project which he designed and lent his name to.

He gives a ton to different charities as well as the Tiger Woods Foundation.

As far as him cursing, spitting, etc..you need to actually attend a golf event. You will see various golfers do similar things on a quite frequent basis. Now compare what he does to what other top athletes do..especially profanity-wise.

his next contract will be 130 mill, nba max, 30-35 a season in endorsements, new nike contract coming up, will have to be over 100 mill if nike is serious about keeping him.

Yeah Lebron will be the next athlete to reach the billion dollar mark. Tiger does a lot of good with his money, also wouldn't be surprised if he started his own golf tour like the PGA one day.

Do an in depth reading about him and you will see what I mean.

How about you just tell us what you mean

Unless a person gives every cent they earn above what the bare minimum is needed to survive, they are guilty of doing too little to help those in need. Compared to the worldwide median income I would guess you could be considered fairly wealthy just based on where you live and the fact that you have internet access

When people say someone is a tight wad, I don't think they are referring to spending on themselves.

Oprah is approaching a net worth of 3 Billion is she hasn't passed it already. Letterman is worth about $150 to $200 Million. Money like that you cant really spend in a lifetime especially if you are already 62 like Dave.

Obviously Tiger is a favorite to live a long life but he will still die richer than he is now. A billion dollars just in the bank earning simple interest is hard to put a dent in.

How much interest do you earn a day on One Billion Dollars in a bank account (assuming a 4% interest rate) - I believe around $100,000, probably slightly more.

Just because Tiger has earned $1 billion doesn't mean he has that much in the bank. Taxes and agents take a pretty big cut out of that

From Forbes Magazine. Woods projected Net Worth will be $1BN in 2011.

Woods is on track to pass $1 billion in career earnings by 2010. Becoming a billionaire--that is, having a net worth above $1 billion--will take slightly longer, since a sizable chunk of Woods' prize and endorsement money is eaten up by taxes and management fees--we estimated 45%. We also credited Woods with annualized investment returns of 8%.

From 1996 (the year Woods turned pro) to the present, we based his earnings on estimates from Forbes' Celebrity 100 list. In 2007, we estimate Woods earned $115 million, $65 million more than runner-up David Beckham.
Based on those criteria, we project Tiger Woods should join our list of the world's billionaires in 2011.

how can anyone be pissed at tiger? he works hard, hes driven and is mentally tough. last time i checked america was a capitalistic society, so now we're hating on him for being a capitalist? he's fully responsible for what he has accomplished on and off the course. its not like he won the lottery or inherited the cash. he earned it. you earn your cash too (by working), but i dont see anyone telling you "the right way" to spend it. btw he gives a TON of cash to childrens causes.

Professional golfer Tiger Woods was seriously injured in a car accident early this morning, the Florida Highway Patrol just reported.

Woods, 33, pulled out of his driveway in the Isleworth community about 2:25 a.m. when he struck a fire hydrant, and then drove into a tree at his neighbor's property, FHP reported.

Woods was transported to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee in serious condition, FHP said. No other information about his condition has been released.

A Health Central hospital employee said at 2:30 p.m. that Woods was not a patient. A hospital operator would not say if Woods had been treated and released.

FHP said the airbags in Woods' Cadillac Escalade did not deploy, which means the vehicle was traveling under 33 mph.

Orange County Fire Rescue received the call for aid at 2:28 a.m. Woods was transported from his Windermere-area neighborhood by the hospital's own ambulance.

FHP did not report the accident until just after 2 p.m. today. The agency said the crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.

Charges pending? What is the typical process for charges pending? Is this standard or does it mean they will be pressing charges?
