Babe Ruth is far and away the greatest American athlete of all time.

To this day he is one of the greatest left handed pitchers in Red Sox history - he was the greatest hitter who ever lived, and would have undoubtedly been a Hall of Famer if he'd have stuck to pitching. As a hitter, he revolutionized baseball by hitting 60 home runs in a season - about 5 times as many as was the norm for sluggers of that day.

PO lost the bet after the 1st round of the playoffs.
I paid MR CLEO his money the very next day after my round 2 loss 2 weeks later. I did not get the money from PO until about 3 or 4 days ago.

And the sad thing is he did not even tell me thanks for letting him off the hook small.

Thats something that a poster who pretends to be a bigshot had such a tough time coming up with such a small amount of money.

Don't get me wrong, good for him. But aside from the shawn kemps of the world, I hardly recall hearing about when athletes have children.

I didn't know anything about Jordan's son or Ewing's son or Clemens' son until they started playing in college themselves (mabye high school).

Is tiger that much of a greater athlete than Jordan or Bonds or Marino? If so, do we really need to know anything about his family aside from how good looking his wife may be?

Didn't seem to bad today. I am waiting for thee 1st "Oh the courage it took to hit that shot" or the other good one "Nobody could have ever made a shot like that.

Tiiger is the greatest golfer in my lifetime. He doesn't need these moron talking heads to overhype every shot he's about to take a a tough shot so when it turns out to be a good shot they can get on thier knees and blow him.

Just like the way they did it with Farve. But Tiger is much much much nore deserving of the praise just not over the top head bobbing shit that they spew.

I tried to get next to him at the Masters one year just to give him a compliment. You could not even get close. I would have better luck approaching President Obama. And as far as Golf Fans go, the phrase "Get In The Hole" is usually reserved for someone who is on the green and after the putter has struck the ball and put it in motion. We don't need to hear it from some drunk on the Par 5 15th when Tiger is hitting a 3 Wood on his second shot. Just My Thoughts. Thanks For Listening.

You know, atleast his post game internviews are far better on the Golf Channel as opposed to the coverage on CBS. The questions and the dialogue are more technical and he seems more relaxed to speak about his day's round instead of "his time off and how much he wiped his ass."

Tiger brought to golf a fan base to the game not seen since the loyal following of Jack"The Golden Bear" Nicklaus is his heyday. The excitement and energy he delivers each week is good for the game and the fans, even though the media and commentators only focus on him it seems and leaves the rest of the field to fend for themselves, with the exception of maybe Phil Michelson. However, if you watch Tiger closely, when he misses a shot, he will pout like a child who just broke his favorite toy. I have seen him stick out his bottom lip in disgust and even heard him utter the GD word on national TV. I know he is a perfectionist and he is his best critic, but I think sometimes he thinks EVERY putt should go in and when it doesn't, he gets angry and dejected. Tiger, come on man, you can hit a five iron 225 yds and land it on a dime. I can lose a sleeve of balls on one hole. If you could learn to forgive yourself, you would be even greater than you already are. Hit Em Straight and I will see you in Augusta.
