Where the St. Louis mayor lives (off Lake Avenue) appears to be a public road in some places and a private road in other places. I don't think it takes a huge leap of faith to think that some protesters didn't know it was a private road.

you just dont want to admit that the trespassers created this mess and you are reaching so far that your statements are absurd, especially the one about the google maps. no let me correct myself, the "organizers deny" is more absurd. you are so dug in it is a waste of time and effort to discuss this matter further. playing the horses today will be constructive than arguing with you.

How is this reaching? What is absurd about my Google Maps statement? Do you deny that I have experienced this? Don't you think it's illogical to deny another's personal experience?

Just to help you out, I Googled "google maps took me on private road" and these were the first two responses. I'm sure there are more examples, but as you can see, this is far from a rare experience.

Back to what we know:
1) The protesters did NOT initially break down the gate.
2) Mr. McCloskey lied about the protesters initially breaking down the gate.
3) The group was marching from a prior location to the mayor's house
4) The mayor lives very close to the McCloskeys. One report said a block away, another report said two blocks away

Now, let's take other things into consideration. Lake Avenue (where the mayor lives) appears to be a public road in some places and a private road in other places per Google Maps. Given this knowledge, doesn't it make sense that some people did not know it was a private road?

Did you not see the video earlier in the thread? Mr. McCloskey claimed the protesters initially broke through the gate. That claim was proven false, as protesters are seen opening the gate and walking through.

It doesn't matter to me if that gate was broken or not, although broken makes their action worse

The fact that a bunch of strangers walked through that gate and on to my property for no good reason would be very concerning

Unless, of course, they were Christmas Caroling

Here is what I will say in the defense of people walking through there. Have you ever used Google Maps to navigate through a city? There are times it doesnt tell you a road or street is private. You are trying to get from Point A to Point B and it gives you the directions without mentioning the road is not open to the public. I have had that happen to me on more than one occasion, and that is what may have happened here.

Dude, there were 300 people and they broke down a gate in a private community.

What are't you understanding?

Again, the gate broke itself then?

I don't understand the defense of these protesters at all.

Imagine sitting in your dining room eating dinner and you look out the window and 300 strangers are on your property, yelling and making threats. WTF would you do? These two are lawyers and not young. So, I assume they are a intelligent but scared. What were they supposed to do, join the march as the only white faces in the crowd?

There it is. I figured it would only be a matter of time before you said the inside part on the outside.

Do you know that? The video clearly shows them initially walking through the gate. Mr. McCloskey lied about the protesters initially breaking through the gate.

Could the protesters have broken the gate on their way out in response? Possibly.

Could Mr. McCloskey have broken the gate to try to salvage his initial statement? Possibly.

Hines are you serious? The protestors were intentionally trespassing in a gated community to protest at the Mayor's house. A gate was broken down. The mob of people who were trespassing physically threatened harm to McCloskey and his wife, who had called the police to defuse the situation but the police didn't come. They had already seen businesses looted and burned to the ground and David Dorn murdered by the mob. They were under no duty to retreat at their home and wait for the door to be knocked down or for their house to be burned to the ground. This is lawful self-defense. As for the prosecutor, I suggest that you do some research to how she is failing to prosecute serious crimes yet she is going after lawful Americans. Finally, McCloskey is a registered Democrat and supports BLM and favors peaceful protestors. These were not peaceful.

Even if they didn't break down the gate and just walked through it, does that look like a road? Is google maps that bad?

Here is a perfect example of why you turned against the US and are a NOT a patriot.
Stupid arguments to make excuses and defend lawbreakers:ohno:
Yes these protestors are using google maps and are confused so now it is okay to trespass on private property.

You are the worst type of people among us because you pretend the be rational and truthful while taking every opportunity
to undermine the country. You are a scummy fuck and people around here are on to your game.:youmad:

So, you're telling me Mr. McCloskey broke that gate on his own? It doesn't add up to you that the gate was locked and 300 people entered on private property through that gate that it was most likely the 300 people that broke the gate huh?

Really?

This is next level dumbness.

For years and years these two people have lived in that house with a locked gate but all of a sudden, 300 yelling protesters go through the gate onto their property but the property owner may have broken the gate?

This is absurd.

What are you talking about? When did I turn against the US?

Also, why did you not respond to the last thread you attacked me in? Is it because I showed you how inaccurate Breitbart can be? Are you that brainwashed?
