OK. I am doing this to prove that I am not trying to weasel out of the bet with AKI. I feel that I am going to win. But I want to get paid if I make a bet. Is that too much to ask?
AKI's behavior since the bet leaves me extremely suspicious. Was there a stipulation about posting frequency in the fine print of the bet? No. There was no fine print. But there is always reasonable expectation. AKI is not meeting that. I kept my end. Gasman has my money. It is AKI who appears to be hiding from his end. He needs to check in and reassure me that he will pay before election results start coming in. That's what I ask.
In fact I will let Gasman be the final arbiter. If he thinks I should pay should I lose, I will. If he thinks like me, that I am being taken, then the bet is off. Period.

3) Gasser refuses to give it to him
4) Aki asks how bet can stand without him being able to post up

He's obviously not seeing any of this, or he would have responded. Why would he hide from a bet that he's likely to win, and got great odds with? So your artificial deadlines are meaningless as it relates to your accepted bet with him. He could come back next week, and have every right to ask where his money is, should he win. But he'd be asking Gassy, the accepted middleman. And if Gassy says you called the bet off, Aki would be entirely correct to call you a stiff.
Deal...but I do no expect Willie to be able to honestly vouch for me. We have had limited dealings other than the fantasy football league. However, I am willing to ship Willie my 2K (if Willie is comfortable with this), you do not need to ship to him, if Willie will vouch for your character only.
