I'd definitely feel like it was shady that a total stranger on the internet disappeared a week before the bet was about to be finalized. A poster that was here on a regular basis for months. All of us would.

But I'd know that I gave the other poster that option with the agreement I came to and I'd pay the bet. And I wouldn't make a big deal about it.

I had something somewhat similar to this happen a few years back with another poster. I don't really feel like telling the story yet but he got a little freeroll in for a few grand and it was because of a mistake I made.

But that is between Gasman and AK. Gasman was unwilling to give out his info to allow AK to send the funds. Gasman stated he would issue the funds to Mich if Mich won, and AK could reimburse him. Mich said he was fine with that. AK being gone for weeks has no bearing on the wager.

No, I understand it well. I've made that clear throughout the entire thread.

If everyone is cool with you being able to cancel a bet because a guy went AWOL then it is what it is. You are right it isn't a court of law, a lot of us think cancelling a wager because a guy doesn't post for a week isn't really fair when you gave your word that you trusted AK. If you were going to renege on the trust over something like him stopping to post then you shouldn't have done it in the first place.

But do whatever you want, it isn't my money and AK is the most hated person on the forum so I doubt anyone really cares.

Can you atleast admit you made a massive mistake in not making him postup? It's a mistake I've made before too.
