Sorry I actually didnt see your question before but I will awnser it now... The only reason Lebron got the most votes for 1st team this year is because the SF position is really weak.. if you look at it, the rest of the forwards on 1st and 2nd team are all true PF's.. with 2 true SF's on 3rd team being Marion and Melo, so obviously if you compare Marion/Melo with Lebron there is no comparison.. thus resulting in a weak SF position throughout the NBA. With that being said, I am not hating here and I agree Lebron should be on 1st team.. if they put him as a SF then he deserves to be there, even if they put him as a gaurd I think he is more deserving than Nash to be on 1st team. I am not hating on Lebron, I am just saying he is not nearly the player Kobe is... and it is WAYYYYYYYY to premature to say he is better than Jordan. Anything is possible in this world, and that could very well be possible, I just dont think it will happen.

Now if you dont mind me asking you a question back:

If Lebron averaged won the scoring title, made all nba 1st team AND 1st team defense and scored 81 points would u not be on ur knees hailing him as G.O.A.T? Obviously most of you will say no just because you know Kobe has acomplished all these things this season and has not even gotten CLOSE to the ammount of credit he should be recieving.

Yes, look at the stats, it will tell you that the Cavs are beating the Pistons' ass. As for being clutch, look at the stats, LeBron has the BEST % in clutch shots, not Kobe. We will see how laughable my statement about the Cavs beating the Heat is when that series is done. I am not going to debate form for jump shooting, only the results. What a surprise with the injury excuse, well how about the Cavs missing Hughes a huge portion of this entire season and him being off because of the missed time. If Hughes had the whole season behind him the Pistons would be done already. By the way, Pippen just called James the most dominant player in the NBA. And he just said what I said about Mike Brown out coaching Flip Saunders, I guess I have some good company with my thinking.
you should just stop already.....your making yourself look stupid.......lebron has a higher % in clutch shots??????......LEBRON HAS A HIGHER % IN CLUTCH SHOTS???.....ahahahahahhahahhahhahha.......out of all of your statements this is the most outrageous one.......ahahahahahahahahaha.......i have nothing to say to that except that you should just crawl into a hole and live in obscurity........as far as the series goes.....look at chauncey billups' stats....did i say rasheed's injury was the only or main reason? no....billups who is supposed to be their mvp is playing horribly and fouled out early in the fourth which was very uncharacteristic......cle does better without larry hughes......with hughes cle = 0-2 in the series....without 3-0.....and this thread is about the best player.....not who will win the cle/det series or why cle is winning or who is the best coach......if your not going to talk about the best player start your own thread

LeBron James is 21 years old has the body of a freaking moose, is one of the top scorers in the NBA (without taking a 100 shots like Kobe), and is living up to all his hype and more. Lebron at his age is so much further than what Kobe was. Kobe was frail and thin and was constantly getting banged up and hurt. Kobe is a good player but I would never, ever trade Lebron for Kobe. Lebron will be the best player to ever play this game. He still needs to come up with some big shots in playoff games but I have no doubt he eventually will. He is 21 years old! Damn.
Lebron is already getting doubled/tripled/quadruple teamed against the Pistons one of the best defensive teams in the NBA ever yet he still is averaging 31 points in the playoffs. He is not getting the chance really to hit the game winner because everyone knows he is a stud. As opposed to Jordan, (Jordan had to prove himself in the NBA), Lebron has done so much so young and came in with the hype that people are all over him before he can hit all those memorable game winning shots.
LeBron has virtually no help. His teammates are jokes. In fact Cleveland should basically dump every single person on that team and start over. They have so many overpaid undertalented people. They are doubling and tripling Lebron and 2-3 other Cavs are constantly wide open. I could be on the Cavs and score 30 a game hitting uncontested layup and 4 footer after uncontested shot.
Lamar Odom is far and away better than anyone who Lebron has. Cleveland's team is really a joke other than Lebron. They are one of the softest teams in the NBA. If someone takes a shot or hard foul against the Heat I bet you the Heat have like 3-4 players come to the rescue and ready to go. The Heat are intimadators. It happens to the Cavs and their 8 guys are running the other way. There is something to be said for that. The Cavs are soft, and untalented. I really hope Lebron steps up again and knocks the Pistons down tomorrow night. I will be cheering them on.

If he remains...

Healthy, Drug Free, Crime Free, Rape Free, Bar Brawl and Get Shot Free, Massive Ego so the fans start to hate him Free....

HE WILL BE THE GREATEST PLAYER TO
E V E R
PLAY THE GAME....

w.a.d.r. ...those who can't see that "Bo Jackson"/"MJ" potential
are "rumplestiltskinning" their way through life, and need to wake up and smell the coffee. This kid is SPECIAL!

PS-- that 8.5-1 ML play on the Cavs LN was a joke. We really need to recognize when the public money and reality are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Sometimes TGTBT IS True and we need to pounce. Not hating on anyone, and I'm no capper...just a degenerate...and BBP has been my Man and Savior in the NBA...Last night was the first and maybe last time I have ever or will ever fade him...Pistons-11 was INSANE!....win or lose...think about it guys that line had 1 thing and 1 thing only written all over it..."Public will never believe that Det can go down 3-2, let alone lose this series. I was not surprised by the line and noone should have been...it could have been 18 and I would only have been slightly surprised...not shocked...Hell look at next game-- Cavs +6 I AM ALL OVER IT...it will probably go to 8 and I'll grab even more! Pistons are a great team....but for those who haven't noticed...the Cavs are too. ....even though LeBron is still learning D and never will hit 70% from the stripe, lol.

lebron is an unmatched physical specimen. however, in terms of the overall better player, kobe wins hand down. for those who argue that lebron shoots a higher percentage than kobe, that is true. but lebron scores most of his point driving to the basket. kobe, by far takes more difficult shots. kobe is a better perimter shooter, better scorer, better defender, better clutch player, and better defender than lebron. lebron however, is a better passer, rebounder, and better team player than kobe.

for those who argue that lebron is 21 years old, well, this is his time to step up. duncan won a title in his first season at 21. again, lebron has stunk it up in the 4th quarter in the pistons series. but nobody seems to mention this. lebron also shoots a larger number of airballs on wide open shots.

i dont understand the argument that cleveland has a weak supporting cast. take a poll, and the overwhelming majority would agree that the cavs have a much better collection of players than the lakers. i am very interested to see the cavs tomorrow. this is lebron's chance to show the world how great he supposedly is. however, i suspect the pistons will dismantle them tomorrow and in game 7 as well.

Great NBA players do a few other things....

with all due respect, and having not checked the stats on these 2 I KNOW Lebron rebounds and more importantly ASSISTS....7, 8, 12 a game.

Kobe?
1, 0, 0, 4, 2, 2, etc.

I loved Kobe defending himself with Sir Charles LN.

Kobe is selfish compared to LeBron.

As soon as Shaq left...LA tanked...Heat Rose.

LeBron will win a minimum of 5 NBA titles...if they trade him to Charlotte or Minny, or anywhere, or he stays in Cleveland...it doesn't matter.

Credit to Kobe though, he can score 81 and maybe 100 someday.

Wilt Chamberlin did (score 100) and was great, but few call him the "Greatest" (outside of the boudoius at least) though.....

L3 Yrs

Kobe --Rebounds-5.1 --Assists-4.5

LeBron --Rebounds-6.6 --Assists-6.6

From the Looks of it I'll predict Cavs in 6.6 games LOL!

This is hilarious.....its like a monkey wrote this......let me tell you if kobe had illgauskas instead of kwame brown, he would have atleast 4 more assists per game.....if you've ever watch a lakers game you would know that kwame cant make layups or guard the perimeter......kobe has to be selfish because his team is horrible.......who is he going to pass to??? luke walton? bryan cook? parker? vujacic?........the fifth line is just plain stupid.......any team who loses SHAQ is not going to be the same.......that should be obvious......he was the most dominant force in the nba at the time and it would be foolish to think the lakers would be the same after losing him........the heat rose only because they had shaq......if jordan loss pippen he obviously wouldnt have 6 rings......to hear you say lebron will win 5 rings is ridiculous......you should really think it through before you write stuff like that.......charlotte or minesota?? hahahah...... neither of those teams will ever win a championship....even if they had shaq or jordan they wouldnt win........to judge a person by statistics says a lot about a persons intelligence.......i once watched a game where kobe created 10 wide open jumpers or layups and saw his laker teammates miss all of them.......im tired of repeating myself to you and i would much appreciate that you just stop posting and go bother someone else with your idiotic comments

You are out of ur mind... Lebron DOESNT GET THE CHANCE TO HIT GAME WINNERS BECAUSE HE IS A STUD? did u wake up retarded this morning? that means ur saying that Kobe was nobody when he hit all his game winners.. I GUESS KOBE WAS JUST A ROLE PLAYER TO THE WORLD IN GAME 4 AGAINST PHX WHEN HE HIT THAT GAME WINNER.. BECAUSE IF PEOPLE THOUGHT HE WAS A "STUD", HE WOULDNT HAVE THE CHANCE TO TAKE THAT SHOT RIGHT?

Thanks for setting me straight RC:lolBIG: . PS How did you know I was a monkey? You're not only a genius, you're highly intuitive.:puppy: Glad you're here.

PS Detroit goes home tonight and not for a game seven. Don't lose any more on the Pistons...they WERE a great team, but SAVE SOME CASH and go Clev w/King James (lol) or don't go at all.:money8: imho:puppy:

Like your little friend you too are a dumbfuck. Look at the stats for clutch shots, this is NOT debateble, this is fact!!!!! Are you going to argue other facts with me? Are you not convinced that the basketball is round? Billups was in games 3 and 4 at the end and they still lost, so get off the "Billups was not in the game" excuse. Z and Anderson were not in the game for the Cavs so that MORE than evens that out. Hughes not being in the lineup has nothing to do with their wins. They said in the 4th quarter of game 2 that they figured out how to beat them. After that point they are undefeated.

"LeBron James is the most dominant player in the NBA"
Scottie Pippen

He is not the first nor the last to admit this. He even said that James is far better than Jordan when Jordan was in his third year. No other player had a more impressive playoff debut than James, period. Rice and Kobefan don't know shit about basketball, take a lesson and watch more than sportscenter highlights. Learn than debate.
