That is EXACTLY the point... we are comparing the best player in the nba RIGHT NOW.. if you want to bring up kobe's 3rd season you are right there is no comparison, but there are valid reasons

1. This just shows that Lebron posseses more talent then kobe.. He was born with this shit while Kobe worked from what he was 3rd season TO WHAT HE IS NOW... that is what defines a superstar, not just talent... why do people hate Vince? because he has a shitload of talent but he doesnt work hard! Im not saying Lebron doesnt work hard but Im saying he doesnt have to work NEARLY as hard as kobe does to get to this point because he is born with this shit.. They even asked kobe on the TNT halftime show yesterday "what is the difference between you and Lebron @ 21?" and Kobe said just look at Lebron, this guy is a physical monster at 21 while kobe had to train like mad to get as ripped as he is.. Lebron was ripped coming out of high school and he barely had to work for shit

2. Since Lebron came into the league he was thrust into the role of SAVIOUR for the cavs.. when Kobe came into the league he had the ability to do that, but he only played 15 mpg because they had Shaq.. If Kobe was given the 40 mpg on his own team coming out of high school I can almost gaurentee you he would've averaged at least 20ppg as a rookie and his numbers would've been just as big

easier to market one guy than a whole team. ask any TV exec. it is still my opinion that is why the Wizards are gone. TV pays the bills. and while i am at it, these are fundamentally the worst playoffs that i have seen and i have followed the NBA over 40 seasons. they should take that zone defense crap and bury it. i have never seen so many guys drive the hoop from 20 feet and get to the basket untouched as i have seen in the last week. i thought zones were to prevent this but all it has done is reduce the game to one on ones and "two man game"! in other words, "street ball"

EXACTLY...thats why I was saying Lebron's "CLUTCH" baskets really had more to do with washington's defensive breakdowns then Lebron's "clutch ability"..Nobody can have the balls to say kobe isnt clutch no matter how much you hate him... This is hilarious........the only reason why we are talking about lebron here is because he is still in the playoffs.......the only reason why hes still in the playoffs is because of damon jones shot that sealed the series for CLE........also we are not living in the past, i dont know if you were paying attention to the conversation but we are talking about who is better NOW....at this present time........Kobe has gone fishing because he has KWAME BROWN on his team.........can you honestly tell me that if cleveland had KWAME BROWN on their team that they would still be here........HELL NO......Lebron is a freak of nature and when he learns to play defense as hard as he plays offense the man will be unstoppable.........until then you cannot compare him to the likes of jordan or kobe

to me.....Olajuwon was better because he was clutch......he was a better passer as well as a better free throw shooter......he had a silky smooth touch which made for a beautiful looking hook shot.....shaq's hook looks like he's just trying to hit rim.........olajuwon's post moves are second to none.....if you have ever watched one of his games during his 2 championship seasons, you would see that he was as crafty as steve nash but at the center position........his moves are mimicked to this day and should be......anyone who plays the post should watch tapes of his games.........but the bottom line.........shaq cant shoot free throws

Lamar Odom is the best player on Cleveland/LA not named Kobe or Lebron.

I've always been a defensive-minded person myself, but it's hard to buy that Lebron isn't the best player because defense wins championships.
If all teams that lead their series 3-2 advance (which happens 84% of the time), look at the teams that would remain - Miami, Cleveland, Dallas, and Phoenix - a couple decent defensive teams, one terrible defensive team, but all good offensive teams.
