I appreciate what the vibe feels and looks like there..

You appreciate what the current vibe looks and feels like in Vegas? Or you would appreciate other's opinions from their recent experiences?

Experiences with what's relevant

What's relevant to you might not necessarily be relevant to others. I guess the only way to get what you are looking for as far as people sharing their experiences is to ask specific questions.

For myself, I've read enough. And based on what I've read from many sources, I want nothing to do with Vegas right now.

I'm with you on that. Vegas isn't a desirable place to be right now.. My point is , we can do with useless information

Imo, Vegas will keep deteriorating......there's no coming back to what it once was. Just wait another year & see how many job loses, home eviction, etc. . we will see. The chaotic disaster is just beginning, & the violence will get worse in Vegas & around the country.

RealPage, Inc., who develops multifamily property management software, revealed as of September, an alarming 10.6% of Vegas apartment tenants were unable to pay rent, up from 4.1% a year earlier, the most significant increase of any other metro area in the US.

Inevitably, many of these folks will increasingly head to the tourist areas and steal whatever from the dwindling number of tourists to make ends meet. Crimes such as carjacking and armed robbery also will increase.

Saw this in another tweet related to the shooting.

Yet another thing we never thought we’d see: As promised, Cosmo turning away anyone who isn’t a hotel guest or doesn’t have a restaurant reservation.

In front of Planet Hollywood this evening.

When will this nonsense end? What will it take?

The "pandemic" all but killed the economy. Now this. I hear the Cosmo is taking some drastic measures to keep the trash out. I wonder if other casinos will follow suit?

Agreed!!!

God forbid they do it as humbly as possible, nope they have to cause chaos on the governments dime. You should see my apartment complex, full of them as they have the unemployment money and no one wants to be the one to turn down color even if it's ghetto.

C'mon...only the one strip shooting this weekend right outside Planet Hollywood. It was the first incident at PH. Of course, the hotel just re-opened last Thursday.

You want to really talk about where we're headed...the moratorium on evictions ends this week as does the banning of late fee assessment. That is the lead local story with multiple tenants interviewed saying they are worse off than Richard Gere, "I've got no place else to go."

Going to stay at Cosmo for two nights next Mon/Tue for MNF and fun. Definitely will not be outside at night. Was at Green Valley Ranch Friday, in the suburbs, and actually smelled pot when walking the casino floor...that was a first.

I'm just hoping the desperate newly homeless target the low-life, scooter driving nouveau riche thugs.

Saw this across the street.

Citing weak customer demand, Wynn Resorts announced today it is cutting the operating schedule at the Encore to four days a week.

The 2,034-room Strip resort will be open Thursdays through Sundays only. After closing at noon Monday, it will be closed until 2 p.m. on Oct. 22.

The Encore has been operating on an around-the-clock basis.

The new schedule will continue indefinitely until “consumer demand for Las Vegas increases,” the company said.

The $1200 govt giveaway crowd probably doesn't frequent the Encore..

Any other reviews of what the strip is like lately?

How are the MGM casinos (Aria, Bellagio, MGM Grand?)

Read somewhere the other day that Metro is really stepping up their efforts to clean the garbage up on the Strip. Hopefully that's the case.
