I know thats what you do ..good luck on your election bet.. but real life to some of us fish is not ALWAYS ALL about betting SirFishhead said:Royal- I did not mean to imply that the Republicans have no care for the middle class..........just stating that 99% of the people i hang with are middle class citizens.

REAL life is betting.
Its what i do.
So what is wrong for me supporting Kerry, a person who will allow me a better chance to continue to wager offshore and post at sites such as the RX?

Is Kerry saying if he can get it back to a nuisnace level like the 90's everything should be A OK. The first bombing of the World center was nuisance, go away little terrorist. The bombing of the USS Cole was just a nuisance. Kerry is so out of touch it's amazing. Where has the guy been for the last 10 years?Noreaga said:whosonfirst--
Kerry said we NEED to reduce terrorism to a nuisance like prostitution and gambling..meaning we need to confront it and kill it... he didnt say it IS a nuisance like prostitution and gambling.
Quit spinning stuff.
Kudos on this post, Whoson1st... it pretty much sums it all up. People keep on talking about how both candidates are related to royalty and related to each other, without realizing that both of them have very little in common with the average American citizen. These candidates cannot relate to you or me, as they were born rich, the have lived as rich men and will die being rich. What would they know of hard work to support a family? We as people that enjoy gambling have NO friend in this election. The Kerry background (ignore how he voted in Congress) is one of Lawyers. How do they make money--think about it!!

(Main character walking down the street with a man who is holding a can of gasoline).
Self-destructive man feels completely alienated, utterly alone. He's an outsider to the human community. He thinks to himself, "I must be insane." What he fails to realize is that society has, just as he does, a vested interest in considerable losses, in catastrophes. These wars, famines, floods and quakes meet well defined needs. Man wants chaos. In fact, he's got to have it. Depressions, strife, riots, murder, all this dread. We're irresistibly drawn to that almost orgiastic state created out of death and destruction. It's in all of us. We revel in it. Sure, the media tries to put a sad face on these things, painting them up as great human tragedies, but we all know the function of the media has never been to eliminate the evils of the world. No! Their job is to persuade us to accept those evils and get used to living with them. The powers that be want us to be passive observers. You got a match? And they haven't given us any other options outside the occasional purely symbolic participatory act of voting. You want the puppet on the right or the puppet on the left? I feel the time has come to project my own inadequacies and dissatisfactions into the socio-political and scientific schemes. Let my own lack of a voice be heard.
