I'm looking for the extended rest to help Jake out and get him back to being the second half Jake that we all know and love... I'll be looking to add the Mets TT under (currently 3 -108) once their lineup is released.

It's very hard to win games when you do that! The odds of us not coming up with anything in all of those situations is minuscule which makes this one a very frustrating loss but at least Jake turned it around as predicted and we showed a profit for the night.
I like the Cubs to win today against Bartolo but the line already popped. I'll probably reduce juice while playing it safe with the -1 line... I'll post once locked in.

Disclaimer: There was a bit of "gut feel" factored into the decision to make this play. Nelson's numbers against the Cubs have been good enough to scare most people away from backing the Cubs here as the road favorite, but I think we get to Nelson tonight seeing him for the third time this season already. His ERA sits at 3.39 for the season which looks great on the surface, but things like a very poor 1.66 K/BB ratio result in him having a 4.62 FIP on the year indicating he is due for some regression. I'm liking the chances of said misfortune coming against a rested Cubs lineup tonight who are currently enjoying a 22 day stretch of not boarding a plane (they will bus it up to Milwaukee today). The Brewers flew home late last night after dropping their series finale to the Pirates in Pittsburgh and get welcomed home by the team with the best record in the league. The Cubs have already lost one series in Milwaukee this year and I see them building off back-to-back series wins out of the break against solid teams by taking this road series which starts with a win tonight.
