AC Milan at CATANIA – If anything this is the one I had originally liked the best. First leg produced 2-1 shocker with Catania winning at AC. Both have important matches on the weekend, with Milan visiting Udinese, and Catania with a travel date to ROMA (If I’m not mistaken, that’s the game that ended 7-0, or something very close to that, last year). It’s Coppa Italia, where you can always count on the unexpected to occur, but find it hard to believe that Milan is going to sit back and play a conservative 4-3-3. Believe that they are motivated enough to avenge that embarrassing 2-1 loss on home turf, and should come out if this match with a victory. Defensively, they are prone to errors on the counter-attack, and as such 1 goal for the Catanians is also in the picture. If it ends 2-1 at end of regulation, as a prelude to extra time, I’ll be very happy with that.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

Torino at ROMA – Forecast is for wind, rain (heavy at times). Combine this with first leg result which produced a 3-1 win for the Toro, and you have a decent recipe for the dog.<o></o>

(not even weather can stop the monster.)
When you have 3-1 aggregate lead, and are holding to a 0-0 draw at the half, you have to close the door, because even a 1-nil loss can get you through. Instead you manage to collapse. Torino's coach blamed his players after last weekend loss, claiming "what the hell am I supposed to do with this bunch", when in reality he should have been pointing the finger at himself.

Coppa Italia Thursday:
Lazio at NAPOLI - See nothing that could convince me to back Lazio under current playing form, and besides, these two will tango once again on Sunday. First leg score of 2-1 for Lazio should (hopefully) be duplicated by the home side - this time. Zalayeta starting in the first half should be indicative of Naples establishing the lead. First / last goal option with this guy is an attractive option as he is quite streaky.
First half:
Over 0.5 and -1 -129 (2.5 units)
NAPOLI 0 Lazio 0
For the game:
NAPOLI -0.5 -108 (5 units)
Over 2.5 +105 (3 units)
NAPOLI 1 Lazio 1
Too many youngsters from "la Primavera" playing for both sides in the INTER MILAN / Reggin match. Anything can happen, so pass.
Good luck,
