Catania will attempt to slow down the tempo for 90 minutes with the hope of stealing a valuable draw to take back home in the return leg. Unfortunately this is not the way to play against AC Milan, who is usually exposed by teams who are not afraid of attacking an aging midfield by playing offensively. As a result, AC Milan will dictate pace and could do a number on Catania's defensive core.

It's Coppa Italia, and even though AC Milan has a tough derby with Inter Milan, they will not look ahead; a convincing victory will build momentum for the weekend match.

I see it 2-0 or 3-0.

Yes, it should be an easy win, but, in all likelyhood, it will not. Teams from the south like Catania, always put up a fight against the thieves from the north like Juventus. It's going to be a very physical game. Also, it would not surprise me if fan violence erupts outside the stadium.

If anything, I like the under 2.5 much more. It would not surprise me if this game stays scoreless until the late stages, where usually teams like Juventus end up pulling the rabbit out of the hat for the 1-0 victory.

Fans in Italy seem to be pretty hardcore. I've heard about the fan violence in these games (including a cop getting killed I beilieve). Pretty sad if you ask me that you can't even go to see a simple soccer game without risking life and limb.
