First leg results produced 2-1 victory for Empoli. That was before, when they were playing a little better; now they seem to have regressed back to their anemic offensive ways. Both deploying diluted squads, nonetheless, Juve will have Delpiero / Trezeguet / Iaquinta upfront, which will be ten times better than anything Empoli will throw at them. Don’t like to lay -1.5 goals, but Juventus usually excels in these situations, and should have enough to muster 2 goals as I don’t see Empoli scoring.

Palermo face spunky Siena on the weekend, thus should come out firing (at least in the first half they will). Always tough on home turf, where they should have enough for the win.
