Email me if you'd like restaurant recommendations. Depending on what you like to eat and what you want to spend, I can help there.

Chances are at least half of the four guys who work with your girlfriend are gay, so the only thing she will have to worry about is getting some fashion tips. At least many of the folks I know that worked in her field were.

There is a nice dog park up by me near where I kick PornoPaul's ass in tennis every few months. Might be a bit of a drive from where you are at though. Despite my screen name, I hate dogs.

I'm setting your over/under in Vegas at 11 months. I actually hope you go under, not for any negative reasons, but I feel like Illini you are more of a Midwestern/family-values type guy and won't have the edge for Vegas. It takes almost a mean-spirited person to survive here and those that leave for the right reasons should be commended. I don't know you that well, but think you may be like Illini and should talk to him about his experience at some point. Like I said, that is more of a compliment that anything negative. Plus, I think you will despise the summer heat out here.

Again, best of luck and let me know if I can help.:103631605

despise dogs? How could anyone? I wished I would have left my dogs home. I know this isnt nearly as fun for them.

I would have to say the o/u is 12 months based on my lease being that long.

You are somewhat right. I am more of a home body. I really dont plan on getting to mixed into the whole being on the strip thing, other than when frineds call in town and i think that will get old really fast. Probably would have tore this place up a few years back but not really into that anymore.

Your so right about the gay statement. She jokes about that all the time with me. Her last job it was the same way, half the guys were gay there.

As for Illini, I read his take on everything. My situation is a little different than his from what I read. I think he came out here alone (which I do not thing I would have did.). I am not sure he had anything setup from a gambling standpoint either. I think it was more or less to see Vegas and find a job.

Your are so right about the heat. That has been always my biggest fear with this. I love the changing of the seasons in the mid-west. I actually look forward to them. The past winter though was a rough one and I think it will nice for a change to not think about shoveling snow.

I am just going to take it for what it is worth here while I am in town. Not sure where I am going to be the next few years in my life but this is what I want to do now with it right now for the next 2 years. Hope to meet some different people along the way and maybe find something else to pursure for the future. Already talking to a poster on here about learning how to daytrade the financial markets and may try that in the future. Just feeling things out right now. All I can say is thank god for the internet and all of the people you can meet on there and things you can learn.

you are probably right from a single persons point of view. I am also looking to be involved in a possibile syndicate, where many people are covering many casino's giving us a chance to find better numbers also.

our bills are going to run around 4-5k combined for us.

The OSU avatar gave it away. Has to be CR. I dont know many people from Michigan that would have an OSU avatar and then he posts the famous run up the score quote underneath from Woody Hayes about going for 2 to get to 50 points. OUCH!! You got a lot of nerve, LOL. That's okay just added more motivation to the Wolverines the next year and we all know what happened that year.

Been meaning to congratulate you on your boy, 1st teamer as a freshman, that is awesome!!! Keep his head on straight (I am sure you will).

Still open for a Lions over season win total? This is going to be the year for them (I think I say that every year).

I know you and some of your boys come in to town a few times a year, get in touch with me when you do.

Not sure how much you come here to the RX but it is great seeing you post, we need more solid contributors to the site. Hope to see you and a few others from back my way around here a lot more. :toast:

Forgive me for not remembering the story but how/why did you come here? Why did you leave? You may have told it but I dont recall it.

How long before you said betting was all you were going to do for a living and how did that go for you? You ever go broke after you started? Bankroll when you started? Ever almost quit? I am sure you have seen your share of failures at this also here in Vegas?

Know a guy here in Vegas (thru the forums) who says that if someone gave him 10k, he could make a living with coupons and promos. Fish, what do you think about this? Could it be done?

I remember back in the 80's and 90's, a friend of mine did it.
But I thought, all that was gone ??

Good luck out there ice. Was thinking about moving out there myself tired of Wisconsin. Any idea what a cabbie makes out there that would probably be what I would end up doing if I were to go there, I just dont have no idea of what they make or how dangerous of a job that would be out there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Drove a cab for 10 months way back in the day...........

They are company owned and you will work 10-12 hours a day(no less, no more). Usually two shirts are available, those beginning between 3-5 am and 3-5 pm.

You will make roughly 120-180 per day between the meter and tips..............actually a very fun job and quite easy if you like to drive..........it will take your toll on you after a year though.

Very dangerous, usually 1-3 per year die. Every day you will encounter one "scary" ride. Unavoidable.
