Chop,
Can you admit you have had a bad season because you just don't have your finger on the pulse of baseball this year or do you believe you have been unlucky (one or the other). I would like you to sum up your season in a few sentences.

I dont think its comparable what you have done to Bucs posts during his slump. Bucs has admitted he just doesnt seem to have a handle on several teams.

Also, he probably has alot more followers than you had this season and his record prior to today wasnt too bad.

You even went across the street today, into his thread, and posted about a bad beat from a few weeks ago?????

Give it a rest already. You arent the only poster that has had a rough year. Also, there are some solid cappers here that are making money.

Put this season in the history books and good luck with football.

If you decide to continue betting bases, best of luck with your plays.

Dude!!!!!!!!!!!

I was doing that to try to make BUCSFAN feal better!!!!!!!! He was getting bashed to no end that thread. I wanted to deflect some of that blame off of him.

All I was trying to do was to tell people to be nice to the proven winner that he is.

I even started a thread over there yesterday telling people to get off of his case.

Me and Bucsfan both have alot of respect for each other when it comes to capping bases.

Why dont you read the context of that thread before trying to make it out to be something that its not.

I also in post #2 or#3 in his thread blasted all the bashers that were giving him a hard time.

PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't referring to your Yankees bet today. I was referring to the entire season. Big difference. I agree that today was unexpected...but last time I checked, the Yankees bullpen was anything but solid, the game isn't over in the 5th inning, and Rivera has actually blown a save or two in his career before. I think. Might wanna go back and check his stats just to be sure.

Classless.

ITS BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!

Last night BRAVES blow 5-0 lead. Today Mets blow 4-0 in the 9th with Wagner. Angels blow 4-1 lead in the 7th with an 0-2 count against a hitter who has not hit a homer all season and gets a 3 run jack. WHAT THE FUCK IM I SUPPOSED TO DO!!!!!!

I can guarantee you that others were on some if not all of those same plays that day. Only difference is some people took it in stride, shook it off, and moved on to the next day. Shit happens. Tends to happen in all sports. Oh, and I think we all know how weak the Braves bullpen is now, and how mediocre the Angels are.

There are more examples, but I'm too lazy to dig them all up. I do know that in one thread you pretty much went back and explained how you were somehow screwed in every game you had lost.

I don't have a problem with you and generally fought the urge to comment during your season, but there's a right way and a wrong way to handle both success and failure. And I don't think you did a very good job handling either this season.

Just a little constructive criticism, not a knock on you personally.

Frustrating to say the least.

A normal baseball season will have about 10 to 12 good beats a year and 10 to 12 bad beats a year. You blow a 3 run lead late one day, and you come back from 3 in the 8th the next day. When all is said and done, it evens out by the end of the year.

This season I have had about 30 bad beats and 2 good beats. Its not evening out.

Ok Chop. But dont compare these countless threads you have started about quitting and bad beats to Bucs posting in his own thread about tough luck late in games.

It helps to vent after tough losses, I have done it, we all probably have. But, how many tough losses does one have, before they throw in the towel and admit the season is a flop?

Bucs being down 20 units in mid June and after over 550 plays isnt anything close to a disaster. I do believe he will finish the season + units.

I only lurk and watch at most of the boards but i have to say Chop you are really making yourself lookHORRIBLE and losing any respect you might have for the comming seasons.

Either adjust and overcome or shut the fuck up and move on.

But stop crying about it!!

Im down less than 30 unit if you count spring ball. The sportsbooks count it, so it counts to me.

I dont have a problem with bucs bitching about the tough games. Hes having some of the same problems.

I do have a major problem with some of the posters over there giving him a hard time. Thats a total joke to have to put up with what hes been through after all those winning years.

I am sorry but I don't buy into this statement. This sounds like every guy that I grew up betting with. Always unlucky. If I could just catch a break,etc...

I had a funny feeling that you would not say "I just am lost this year on finding good bets and I take full responsbility that I am the reason I am losing. I haven't done a good job finding value. I need to improve on my capping."

I think guys would respect you alot more and the above statement is probably fairly accurate, dont you think?
